Chris provided many hours of outstanding legal work for me and my husband over the years, both property/real estate law and powers of attorney/will preparation. When faced with a very difficult property owner on a neighboring property who violated the law many times including harassment, trespassing, property destruction, and physical obstruction, Chris and his staff empowered me to be able to find a solution to all issues and a workable solution, including protection orders to provide for our safety. Chris' ethics are the highest and, compared to other attorneys we had dealt with previously in Colville, Chris does not over-charge - he keeps strict tabs on time spent and never charges unless we're in a legal discussion or he's doing legal work for us. Other attorneys in Colville would constantly chat and socialize, then we'd get huge bills for "professional services" and we ended up doing all of the legwork, so we switched to Montgomery Law Firm for all of our family's business and personal needs!

His receptionist Cassie is completely rude and lacks extra amounts of professionalism. He does not call back or email back. Even when told by a Judge that he needs to work with the opposing party he chooses not to. They degrade you and try to make you feel less than them. If you say you’re going to do something simply do it. It isn’t that difficult to be an upstanding citizen.
