Although it was explained that my nearsightness may not be as good - it was not explained that it would be gone. If you are nearsighted already, I would not recomment this procedure. I need readers now (yes, everyone will eventually need them, I heard it many times while checking into this) but to me it is not better then having glasses/contacts. Instead of wearing glasses/contacts to see I now spend my day putting glasses on and taking them off all day long - what a hassel! Trying to keep track of the glasses and carring them with you everywhere. I would rather be able to see up close without glasses then needing an extra pair of hands to put these on and take them off all day. The staff and doctors are ok - same as the other places I checked before deciding to have this procedure done.
