I called on a Friday morning when i realize my garage door was broke. I explained what was wrong and they said they would call back with a rough price. Well they never called back on that Friday. So i figured that meant i would hear from them on Monday. Not until i tried calling them back did i finally get a hold of the guy i was talking to but he was sorry and said he call me back Tuesday morning with a price. Well Tuesday morning came and he did call with a price which i thought was but i needed it done so i said fine, when can u be here. He put me on hold for about 2 minutes and then said i don't want to do this job and hung up on me before I could even respond. I just thought this older gentleman was rude and i didn't understand someone not wanting the business. All well. Called Reynoldsburg overhead garage door.. they said they would be here the next day..

Called on Thursday - left a voicemail. Their message indicates they'd call back in 24 hours. Monday rolled around and no phone call - so I attempted to call once more and was told I'd be called Tuesday morning between 8-9 for an appointment. Tuesday came and no phone call. At noon I took it upon myself again to call. They were apologetic and said they'd be there within the hour. An old man showed up and was far from pleasant. He indicated I had too much "junk" in the way and needed a 6 ft. path along the entire span of the garage door to get to the spring. There was roughly a 3 ft. path. He said he'd have to come back the following week. I called to stress my un-satisfaction - was told I'd be called Monday to reschedule. Within a couple hours I got a call back pretty much stating they'd rather I take my business elsewhere. So I did. I called Compton Garage Door - they were there is 25 minutes, I had to move nothing in my garage. The job was complete in less than a half hour and it was priced about 20% less.

This company is truly disappointing. CW Miller installed the garage in our home as part of a new construction. Within the first three months the coil came off unexpectedly. To their credit, they came out the very next day and fixed it immediately. I truly appreciated the response. Only 10 months later, the garage would go down 2 feet then back up 2 feet regardless of how many times I cleaned the sensor per their suggestion. We have not been able to resolve this issue. A week ago, my garage door opener stopped transmitting despite the red light on the remote turning on.

When calling CW Miller (15 months after the original installation) I was greeted with a woman who told me that the original request regarding the coil was due to me closing the garage door on something. Then, despite me being 3 months out of warranty, and the constant issues that have come up with simply opening and closing my garage, CW Miller has refused to stand behind their work, asking me to pay $80 for a service fee. In some sense, I feel like this garage was installed completely incorrectly only to later be able to reap the benefits of a repair.

I'm a fair consumer, and I rate companies equally, so when calling CW Miller to talk through honoring the fact that my garage isn't even 2 years old, and has been serviced once already and now requires another service because it will not even close, and now the remote is broken, I'm simply told the warranty is over so pay up. Truly disappointed, and will EASILY find someone else to fix this issue despite it being at my cost for a brand new garage door opener.

Great Service!

Years ago, I bought a garage door from Home Depot. I had so many issues with that door and getting it serviced. This time around, I called C.W. Miller. I liked that they had been in business since the 60's and there staff was very helpful and courteous. The salesman who came out to help us select a door was great. We selected a door and opener and the price with installation was actually less than the big retailers! The real test was when our opener started acting up a couple months after installation. We called and they sent someone out the next day (compared to WEEKS with the "other" company). It happened to be that one of our kids had kicked something out of alignment which caused the opener to act up. The Repairman fixed it free of charge even though it was our fault! I can certainly see why this company has been in business so long. I will be using them for any garage door needs I have in the future.

Great Service

I wanted a company that had been in business for awhile, not some start up that wouldn't be around if I had an issue. This company is family owned and has been in business for years. They made me feel comfortable and the service man was really great. He suggested what type of door we should purchase and gave us options that fit in our budget. We will definitely use them again!
