My husband and I lived in Japan for a year teaching English. This restaurant has excellent sushi as well as other traditional Japanese dishes. We love it here!!!

We highly recommend Akai Hana. This is an authentic Japanese restaurant, unlike the Japanese steak houses. The food is delicious, including "box meal sets". Akai Hana's sushi and sashimi are incredible. Our son lives in Japan, and looks forward to Akai Hana when he comes home to visit.

The food and service are wonderful. We have visited Japan twice, and the food at Restaurant Japan (now, Akai Hana) is very authentic. Excellent sushi and sashimi along with the noodle dishes and others.

This is my favorite place for Sushi. The shrimp tempura rolls and spicy scallop rolls are outstanding! I try sushi every place I travel and none so far have compared. This is by far the best out there!

Some of the best sushi in Columbus. Not super trendy, but very traditional, very tasty - VERY authentic! Try the Spicy Scallop roll - it's what dreams are made of...
