awesome!

A few hours of training with Carolyn taught my family how to communicate leadership to our dogs. We could not be happier and are going back to learn to be off leash reliable.

Carolyn described my dog Sinclair as exhuberant....I thought crazy was more fitting. After only a few lessons, he became a different dog. Soliciting Carolyn s help and investing in the training collar were the right decision. Sinclair and I had a fantastic hike at Pine Mountain with the rest of the group and I have never seen him so happy (or well behaved)! With Carolyn s help, I can enjoy taking him places and ensure his safety because of the training. A dirty dog is a happy dog!

Carolyn Boling-Weinbaum litera...

Carolyn Boling-Weinbaum literally saved my blended terrier, Roxie. I adopted her in early January 2010 as a 13-month adolescent because I fell in love with her beautiful face on the PAWS Humane website. I did talk to the folks at the shelter and read through the information about her that I was allowed to see. She was high-strung and excitable when we met, but I chalked that up to excitement over maybe finding a home. It was only after I got her home that I realized she was almost totally uncontrollable and would not go near a crate; she growled, snarled, and acted out like a spoiled child. Only after reading the paperwork they gave me to bring home with her did I understand that she had been returned twice--not the one time as I had been told. I called Carolyn in tears and luckily she was able to rearrange her schedule and come to my rescue … and Roxie’s … as I dread to think what her fate may have been had I returned her. I was actually to that point before Carolyn came to help us. Fast forward to the present day: Roxie is now under control…she loves her walks and romps along the bike trail and other places and goes off leash with the assistance of a remote leash which ensures she will respond to my commands and come to my side when called. She receives well-deserved compliments daily from bikers, joggers, and other walkers who see how she responds to me, comes, sits and “down-stays” while they pass us. Roxie is well-behaved now and enjoys wonderful privileges because she has learned, through Carolyn’s invaluable training, how to live in my home and listen to what I tell her to do. I would not have this relationship with Roxie -- in fact she would not be in my home and life at all -- were it not for Carolyn’s training, patience, and encouragement. I cannot recommend Carolyn and The Developing Canine enough. As she did with me, she educates and instructs the owner on how to train their dog…she demonstrates what the dog is capable of doing and encourages the owner to train and reinforce daily and multiple times daily. Thank you, Carolyn, for showing me the sweet and loving dog that is Roxie today.

Great Trainer!

We began taking our Saint Bernard puppy to Carolyn when she was 13 weeks! Carolyn trained her so that as she grew, she would be very fun and manageable. She also taught us how to practice what she had taught our Saint with her at home! She has a great, individualized dog training program! I highly recommend her!

I recommend Carolyn and The Developing Canine to everyone asking how I trained my dogs. She takes the time to teach YOU how to train your dog and does not rush you along. You can tell that she truly cares about your dog and loves to see them improve and grow.
