I found the people to be friendly and helpful.
I found several books I needed on Physics.
I only gave them four stars because they were not as big
as a grocery store.
They are certainly worth a visit.
They have to be one of the best used bookstores in Columbus GA.

Just visited this store for the last time. Though they have never been helpful or friendly, they are the only place around with good used books, so I've been going there for years. Today however, I try to go into the store during a thunderstorm. They have a sign on both doors that say to go to the textbook side, even though I clearly see people in there. So I run in the rain to the other end of the building. That door is locked and has a buzzer. Despite having just seen someone go in, after ringing twice with no answer and being completely soaked, they have lost my business. Don't waste your time.

I read the other review for the Book House and was skeptical about going there but just have to say that my experience was totally the opposite. The employees were very friendly and the cost was comparable with the college bookstore and they had the item I needed in stock. Just wanted to present a good review of this store!

Overpriced, rude, do not price match although they claim to, give you less than half back on your books, won't even buy the books back if they aren't used for next semester even if you bought them there. There are other book stores around here that are cheaper, give more on buy backs, and are much friendlier.
