Same ordeal as 'Keri R.' there -- when I moved in, there were no light bulbs; air filters were horrendous; yard was unkempt; house was not cleaned at all, just to name a few things. When I moved out, due to buying a home, everything was clean. Orderly. We even left our light bulbs, how thoughtful! They kept our deposit and want us to pay for their "labor and repairs" even though the 'damage' was there before we moved in!

There is a reason why every review is negative with KPDK. I patched holes in walls and painted entire walls with paint that was marked in the garage. It was the original paint. I had carpets cleaned professionally once I moved (and was charged for it). I was told by every neighbor the house and yard never looked so nice. Even the owner himself visited twice and said the same thing. Liberty Henderson and her minions will screw you. I'm now in the process of buying. I will make sure KPDK doesn't have a part of it.

Horrible experience on the home buying/selling side as well. I know there are some outstanding agents at KPDD, but if there were "negative stars" for a lower rating, I would use them all! Our closing won't be happening next week (3rd delay), it has absolutely nothing to do with the home we are purchasing, and EVERYTHING to do with gross incompetence, lack of communication, and pure deceit on the part of the KPDD/Coldwell agent helping the couple purchase our current house. Now I'm stuck with my house torn apart, most of my stuff in boxes, and we are the last to find out the truth at the end of the day on Friday (48 hrs before closing) with no end in sight. To that one special agent at Kennon, Parker, Duncan & Davis, may you NEVER get another listing again! I know many, many people in Columbus, GA.

This company is horrible, service while we lived there was non-existent. They never returned phone calls, they only contacted me when they added "fees" on our lease. After we moved out they charged outrageous amounts for unnecessary labor. DO NOT rent from these people, all they want to do is rip you off.

I'd give them zero stars if I could! They are rude and act like jerks. When you finally get something done it takes forever. If I didn't know the person I was actually renting from it would be worse. Don't rent from these bastards

Horrible!!!!!!! Not professional give you the run around. And they find any reason to keep your deposit and charge you for things they did!!!! They want to charge me $125 for eviction labor we were out of the house the house was empty I asked him if anyone was there he said no of course not we moved out sooo why are you charging us?????? And I'm not paying $58 for a locksmith because you broke the lock & I'm not paying for lawn care because the home owner decided to cut down bushes. They are horrible I called many many times when our air went out the thermostat said it was 89 degrees in that house it took them 24 hours to get out & fix the air. Avoid them please!!!!

I should have known that they were not a reputable business from the start. They had basically promised the rental to us, and our initial deposit had already been made, when they called to advise us that someone else was going to be renting the property. After many phone calls, it was cleared up and we went to the property for our walk-through inspection. The power was not on, but we did our best to carefully inspect the property. We did notate that there was a HUGE crack in the kitchen light cover, the air-conditioning vents were rusted, the mini-blinds in the living room and the master bedroom were cracked and yellowed. I asked for the blinds to be replaced and also for the light cover, as well. These things were never done.



Anytime that maintenance was needed, they literally took weeks to respond to an issue, like our leaky refrigerator. At one point during our lease, the water was off for 2 days, and they seemed quite unconcerned and unapologetic about the issues it was causing. How can you live somewhere with no running water for bathing, flushing the toilet, washing clothes, etc? Whenever I called them for any issues, it was always a headache and I continually received the run-around.



Finally, when we moved out, we received a bill listing items such as the mini-blinds, air-vents, kitchen light, that were already torn up when we moved into the property. I would never reccomend this company to anyone and will make sure I let everyone know to avoid this company at all costs.

Our experience renting with th...

Our experience renting with them has been a nightmare. I actively steer renters and home owners away from this firm whenever possible. We are homeowners ourselves and landlords of several properties as well as renters here in Columbus. It has been the worst rental experience of our lives. We're going on 6 months that repairs are not completed. Appointments I make for services through them are made with the wrong vendor. Appointments made with their own repairmen that I have given 24+ hours notice for cancellation and charged to the homeowner are not canceled and the guy shows up anyways and then gets upset with ME. We once went without hot water for 10 days because they couldn't get organized over a repair to the property over a leaky gas tank, and I have a new baby. We pay $1800 for this property, it's not cheap and we have NEVER been late with our rent. I wouldn't trust these people to manage my doghouse let alone rent another property from them. The thing is, and I've mentioned this repeatedly, we won't be renters for long. We WILL be buyers again soon, but NEVER through any agent represented through their firm. Every single person we have dealt with, from inspectors to maintenance to the rental directors of this company have behaved as if they only have three brain cells to scratch together. DO NOT RENT OR HAVE YOUR PROPERTY MANAGED BY KENNAN PARKER DUNCAN AND KEY unless you like throwing your money away.
