Wow - Buyer Beware at 4 WD Hardware. Ordered one product - told it was on backorder. 4 Months later I received a different product that didn't even fit my Jeep and that I did NOT order and my credit card was charged. Tried to resolve with Customer Service (that's really a pun as there is no customer service). No one answered my emails. When I did get thru they told me I had to speak to a manager but gee - no manager ever available - and no manager calls you back?? Finally got thru to a Manager today (only after arguing with the customer service rep to let me speak to a manager so I can resolve) and the manager told me I only had 90 days to return the product I didn't order - or no refund. I told her she was violating consumer protection laws and 39 US Code 3009 - Mailing of unordered merchandise (which states I do not have to return and cannot be charged for unauthorized merchandise) I even emailed her a copy of the law and she said she did not care. I told her I would go to the BBB (filed a complaint today), and she said she did not care. Maybe she doesn't care - but I would think the CEO does?? For $250.00 she lost her company a future customer, negative reviews, a complaint at the BBB. But most of all - I don't want anyone else to deal with this company and get burned like I did!!
