BEWARE AND DON’T USE THIS LOCATION IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!! This Uhaul location @ Forest Drive Columbia, SC is the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a Uhaul location. The employees (Andrea and Alison) incompetent and unknowledgeable about their equipment or their system. And could care less about customer service. There is a general manager at this location named Ashley Lewis who is very unprofessional and rude to customers. After she was speaking to me in a rude tone, I did ask what her name was and she never would tell me and once I told her I was making a complaint against her, she informed me she was calling the police on me. On 14 Nov 18, Ashley Lewis (general manager) had me arrested because I would not leave the location without a print out of bill. Once the police did get there she just said the system was down and my receipt had been emailed to me. I feel she only called the police on me in retaliation for another complaint I filed on this location and because I was filing another because of her treatment toward me that day. I have called the Uhaul @ Forest Drive to speak to the owner Guy Robinson, however I was told by the female employee that she did not know who I was talking about. I have filed a complaint with Uhaul corporate customer service about my treatment at the Uhaul @ Forest Drive, however I still have not heard anything from them. It seems like Uhaul is more concerned about getting people's hard earned money rather than customer service and quality assurance.

Just wanted to say that I appreciated all the help 'Tim,' provided when I got my truck from storage. Of course the battery was dead in my truck but Tim provided me with a charger to charge the battery. I was in a time crunch so I was able to get some jumper cables and got a jump from the great employees at Uhaul movement and storage at Fort Jackson! Thanks Tim.
