I called Old Cobbler two days before my wedding portrait photo shoot. He was very kind and accommodating. I took my shoes in that morning around 9am and they were ready by 3:30pm the same day. Excellent workmanship and top notch customer service!

Awesome experience!!! I had a unexpected death in the family and my shoes were terrible. I was a little hesitant about some of the other reviews but I tried a few other places and was shut down. The owner not only took care of my shoes but when I got them back they looked brand new. Now I know where I will bring all my shoes!

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN WILL I STEP FOOT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. The location is not convenient for me but decided to drop off my shoes there anyway. I Dropped off my shoes to be repaired on 17 Feb 15 with a promise to be ready date after 4 pm on 25 Feb 15. I arrived on 27 Feb 15 to pick up the shoes. They are not ready. In fact, the job had not been started. I was told by the shoe repairer, that he promises to have them ready the following Monday, 2 Mar 15. I was not able to get up there until 6 Mar 15. MY SHOES STILL WERE NOT READY. That was my breaking point. Needless to say, I was upset. The lady at the front promised me they would be ready in 45 minutes. I said 45 minutes really? She said if he says they will be ready in 45 minutes, then they will be. I'm thinking from a guy who promised to have them ready by Monday? Really? I was furious. I was not about to hang around or come back in 45 minutes. Then she said they will bring them to my house that evening. I said fine. Guess what? THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. I went the next day at 0900 AM. They were just finishing up my shoes. I couldn't believe it. The shoe repairman handed me my shoes as if it was 25 Feb 15. No apologies, no discount for lousy service and broken promises. Deplorable. Never again.

Terrible! I dropped my shoes off on Jan 2nd and was told they would be ready on Jan 23 (which I thought was a long time). I called on that day and was told that they should be ready Jan 30th. I forgot to pick the shoes up on that Friday and attempted to pick up my shoes on Feb 3rd. My shoes were still not ready! I was told by the end of the week (6th) and they were not ready. I went to the store on Feb 11th and was told they would be ready when they closed that day and they would call me. At the end of the day, no shoes and no call! I went in the store on Feb 13th and they were finally ready. One shoe looks rushed through. SMH!

This place is the most incompetent dishonest business I've ever trusted in. I dropped a leather coat off for a zipper. I was told one-two weeks. After four weeks I called and was told it would be ready next week. Now 11 weeks in, I went and got my coat and my money back. Don't use them. Your item will have gone out of style if you use them

Brought my shoes, belt, mother favorite purse in to all be repaired and was told to come back the following Tuesday and my shoes would be ready. I came back that Tuesday and was amazed at the work he did on my shoes and belt. The purse looked brand new compared to when I brought it in. Good job to you and I'd recommend this store to everyone!!!!!

Left shoes there said would be 5 days. Came back on the 5th day at 3pm. He told me he was now repairing shoes that are due at 4pm. He had 5 days to repair shoes and the last 45minutes he was working on the customers shoes. Not too professional.

I enjoy doing business with the Old Cobbler Shoe Service. The guys are so nice and they really make you feel like you are their friend and not just a customer. I have been doing business with them for approx 3-yrs and they do great work! Ladies when you get tired of the those 4 to 5 inch heels don't get rid of them, take them in and let the guys lower the heels. You will be more than satisfied with the work that they do...I love my lower heels and they feel so much better and comfortable . Thanks Guys SAC Raiford

WOW! I took my shoes, and purse in to be refurbished....and now they look like brand new! I almost threw them away....then I saw your add in the MINT MAGAZINE...and decided to give you a try. I was so amazed......I cleaned out my closet and brought in 3 more purses and 8 pairs of shoes! Thanks Old Cobbler for saving me money (didnt have to buy new fall shoes or purses) and doing a fantastic job on my shoes and purses! AWESOME customer service as well.
