I have bought several parts from G & E and have never had an issue with bad customer service. Although I did have a problem with a washing machine timer I bought from them that had a severed wire. I called them to tell them about it and they said they don't accept returns but they can file a warranty claim for it and replace it for me. So went down the next day and had to fill out a form for a faulty part and they replaced it with no problem. Before you buy from them I would find out up front what their return & warranty policies are and if you are not satisfied with your service ask to speak to some more qualified. I usually ask up front to speak to someone who can tell me about a product. I see there are quite a few negative reviews about customer service, they may need to consider retraining their employees with this many negative reviews to better serve their customers.

Been a customer of G&E Parts since 1978! Owned my own business & bought several hundreds of dollars of parts from them. Sold my business in 1994 & went to work for a major corporation. As a District Parts Manager, continued to do business with them & purchased several hundred THOUSANDS of $,$$$,$$$.$$ of parts from them! Called for a little, tiny weeny parts order for my own product & was told the cashier said my account had been deleted from the system & I'd have to fill out an application to get the dealer price on the parts! I called another major parts supplier I've done business with in the past & they were more than glad to sell me the parts at dealer cost & purchased the parts at an even better price! Will NEVER do business with G&E Parts again!!!!

DO not deal with them -you owe them something when you walk in the door -guy wanted to charge me something because he had to take time to find the part -they will not stay in business with this ugly customer service -go on -line or to Sloan in town -wake up there boys -not only place around

Excellent customer service! Bought parts off line and they were cheap knock off parts from china. They also helped me diagnose my problem. Will only buy local from now on.

this place had the part i needed for 72.00 but found it at amazon 16.00 but wouldnt take back had only purchased less than hr. then need another part they had the kit for 33.00 but i got it from amazon for 4.00 and it did the job so if you know what you need and can wait a day or two check amazon or other websites before going here.

This was my first call to this appliance shop. I dialed the number and when the operator answered I thought she meant GE parts. she correctly corrected me and said G and E parts what do you want. Well, what do you want trough me. I went on to say "oh I'm sorry I thought this was just for G&E appliances. Again, "what do you want? I proceeded to say I'm looking for a thermal , then all of the sudden click! Wow! If that's customer service I'll pass. Didn't bother to call back and don't think I ever will. Good luck with this 1 guys.
