My husband and I both got wonderful haircuts today. It is the best cut I have had yet since I went natural. Chris and Chuck are great barbers and everyone left very happy about the customer service and the fresh looks. I recommend that everyone needing a haircut to drop by and check them out! My husband, Chris, hadnt had a barber cut his hair in 16 years. He saw the great cut I got and Chris hooked him up! Thanks, Chris! Chris and Sharonda Wright

I highly recommend anyone that is stopping by in town to check out this place if they want a fresh hair cut. The barber chris does an amazing job. I recommend to call first though because it is a wait, but definitely worth it. I had waited 2hrs to get my haircut and i was a little frustrated for the wait but i saw that he was doing a good job so i had decided to stay. Once chris got done cutting my hair i was completely satisfied with it. So remember a good haircut is worth the wait definitely stop by though

We passed by their barbershop daily always noticed the parking lot being full. We stopped in on Saturday May 3, 2013 they were very busy. I sat down and watched all the barbers cut before deciding who would cut my boys hair. I was surprised that all the barbers cut hair really well. I have never seen a barber arching a ladies eyebrow. This was the cleanest barbershop in the area. All the workers were friendily and greeted both of us. Im usually uncomfortable in barbershop, but they made me feel comfortable. Great haircut..

My wife wanted to stop by for an eyebrow arch, so i decided to get a haircut. They did a really good job. We will be back soon.

I stopped by their shop to have my daughters hair done. Lamar and Nicky did a wonderful job on their hair. Lamar braided my younger daughter hair and Nicky put Kinky Twist in my older daughters hair. Both styles very neat and detailed. Everybody was very friendly..

I only give this place 1 star because the barbers are really chatty & funny.
Other than that, this place was terrible. My friend's hair dresser can do weave for nothing, her hair was mess up from the floor up, no joke. She shouldnt be doin hair at all. The place is dirty & the curling iron is old.. If u don't want the out come like, I advise u not to go to NICKY

I take my 3yo son here on a regular basis. A very friendly environment. Even when there is a wait, its usually 5-10min. Barbers provide a warm, friendly service. Skilled & incredibly patient. Pricing is average, and they do offer senior & military discounts along w.weekly specials. Charming establishment.

Great customer service. You are greeted as soon as you walk in the door and they thank you for you business when you leave. They make you feel welcome and you want to come back because of the atmosphere.

I come to this shop because of the owner Chris Blanks. He has been my barber for over 5 years and I have alway had a pleasant experience. He takes pride in his work and stirves to take barbering to the next level. The shop is alway neat and clean. This is a family oriented shop caters to men, women and children.

im from michigan, when i moved down to columbia, i started going to chris' barbershop and he is the best barber i've ever had. I would advise anyone who is looking for a barber to come to chris.

Chris, the owner, has been my barber since I moved to Columbia in 2000. He runs a tight, clean shop. You know it's a great shop because there are always people in there. His hours are long enough that I can always find some time to get there even at the last minute. Professional, curteous, and personal. I won't go anywhere else.

Fades and arches barbershop is the best shop in columbia, sc and I have been going there since they opened. The atmosphere is very family friendly and professional and the barbers make sure they give you the style that you're looking for. I would recomend this shop to anyone looking for a fresh cut.
