Absolutely overpriced. Two small spring rolls for almost 6 dollars as an appetizer. The soup tastes good (not completely authentic) and despite the fire bowls the soup is served in; it nevertheless arrives to the table warm at best--not at all hot. The papaya salad is acceptable. You pay for the ambiance not the service. Waitress did not bring me a new napkin after taking it from me and only after she took her sweet time watching me use my own napkin to clean up the table due to the waiter haphazardly placing all food items on the small dinner table causing multiple spills.

The food came out fast which is why I give it 3 stars instead of 2. The two women who work as greeters; spend more time gossiping, laughing and socializing with each other than professionally representing the restaurant at the caliber it is aiming to reach and catering to the clientele they are trying to attract.

The bartender makes acceptable drinks and is well trained. The co-owner Chai Eang very strategically comes around to greet patrons at each table as long as you are worth the money and his time to afford in order for him to bestow his presence upon you.

I specifically ordered simple light food before choosing to come back (or not) and delve into more complex dishes. If this restaurant could pay attention to the details on the simple things that would be a good sign--however, I was disappointed about the overpriced spring roll dip being brought to the table only after being sprayed with Huy Fong Sriracha Sauce and not even being properly mixed in to mask it! If you want authentic Thai worth the price on par to suit even Anthony Bourdain's refined palate skip Basil Thai Cuisine (whose owners are Cambodian not Thai) and google Sripraphai instead.
