I give it 1 star because it wouldn't accept NONE.

POOR, POOR EXPERIENCE!

At first glance, this looks like a nice place. Not overly fancy, but comfortable. LOOK CLOSER!!!

7:00 PM - We arrive - party of 5
7:05 PM - We are seated
7:15 PM - Waitress taking drink/appetizer order. Tells us food wait will be long, so we go ahead and order - all order Ribeyes. Some of us haven't seen each other in over a year - and we've traveled a good distance because we're told the steaks were so good - so we've got plenty to keep us busy while we wait.
7:30 PM - Appetizers to table. Excellent spinach & artichoke dip and fried jalapeno chips.
7:40 PM - Salads to table. They are a little skimpy, but the homemade salad dressings are good.
8:20 PM - Waitress returns (65 mins after we order) to tell us they are out of 16 oz. Ribeyes - we've ordered 2.
We must choose the 10 oz. or the 24 oz. steak now. I've been in this dilemma before - and EVERY time the restaurant moved to the next size up for the price of what we ordered. NOT Little River! The owner - a total ZERO ON CUSTOMER SERVICE - comes to the table when we ask about up-sizing our steaks. His answer? A resounding "NO". Never offered an apology - nothing. Did comp one of our appetizers. So, given no real choice, we chose to change to 10 oz. steaks since by this time our appetites are waining anyway.
8:45 PM - (Almost 2 hours in) Someone we've not seen before comes to table saying, "we are completely out of steaks - what else do you want?"

At this point we all cancel our orders. This rude mystery employee (thought later to be owners wife) just turns and walks away. NO apology. NO "could I get you anything?" NO concern whatsoever.

Now we're sitting looking at each other like 'what just happened here?'
Rude mystery employee returns a moment later and says, "He said just tell you there's no bill" and again turns and walks away.

There was NEVER a "we're sorry", "how can we make this right?", "sorry you've spent 2 hours here and you're leaving hungry" - NOTHING!

I've dined from Rally's Hamburger drive-thrus to Smith & Wolensky in Manhattan and I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED AS POORLY AS AT THIS PLACE. We will absolutely never return.
