I am a past employee here & I can honestly say I feel for the Residents here. My heart breaks to have witness the way these residents were treated by fellow coworkers & management . Unfortunately, for me taking a stand for those I cared for I forcibly had to leave. This is one of the worst ran facilities, staff favoritism, harassment, and poor caregiving to those residents. Who are fearful to say anything to management. I can only hope that someone finally opens there eyes to what is truly happening there like I did.

They get one star only because I can't rate them with no stars. What started out being a wonderful place where my in-laws could stay together has turned into a nightmare in less then two months. First, they decided that my father-in-law, who has had no traffic violations in years, shouldn't be driving anymore. So, they went in while he was taking a shower and stole his car keys. Next they sent my sweet, compliant, wanting to always please mother-in-law who has dementia to a geriatric psych ward for a couple of days for a "meds evaluation". Later the story changed that they just wanted to see how she would do away from her husband for awhile. It turned into almost a month and she went downhill. We picked her up today to take her back to Village Green. We spent several hours with her and had a wonderful time. She told us she was hungry and ate lunch very quickly. We then dropped her off at Village Green and before we could get home they called and said they had readmitted her to the pschy ward because she had assualted the staff. She has NEVER EVER done this to anyone before!! When we went to see her, they would not let us see her and the nurse said that she doesn't eat anything there. BEWARE! This is just a sample of what we are going through so be very careful!
