I paid 22.00 for a tan and did not receive one drop of color, my next visit I told MARY who instead of compensating me for my money's worth she insulted my intelligence by telling me I wasn't going to tan if I come in every 1 1/2 months which is nonsense. MARY also resorts to lies in her desperation to sell memberships, she told me they would be going to membership only last spring, lies. I will sacrifice a great tanning unit for convenience, I've had a few good tans there, 90% were mediocre beds, they give you good ones to suck you in, I don't buy memberships for that reason and I don't appreciate being treated like crap when I spend as much or more than if i was a "member" on tans, jewelry and worthless high priced lotions. I sure hope not compensating a customer with a justifiable complaint was worth it, It wasn't good business practice but the real eye opener is when I made my review I saw the responses to former "members" who were sent to collections and BLAMED for SUNSPOT ATLANTIS inadequacies by an owner who OBVIOUSLY uses this forum to list and showcase services. Owner didn't count on a former member posting a letter from an unsatisfied customer that showed who the owner really is. I find it extremely suspect when 99.9% of the 5 star ratings have an avatar instead of a real picture. There are plenty of tanning salons to choose from, it can be hit or miss, take it from me, this is a triple miss!

I love this place. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The rooms and beds are always clean. I like that I can pay as I go, without a contract. I really like the small packets of tanning lotions offered for purchase. I like trying different tanning products.



I don't know much about the other things they offer, but hear great things about them from friends.

The place is nice,and services are wonderful. This being said, I requested a refund for October because I m a federal employee and was furloughed, I Have NO INCOME for an indefinite time, they refused due to policy ! This is a unique situation so an exception in policy would be appreciated by and and ALL FEDERAL Employees who use/used this facility. When I go back to work I will find ANOTHER place to get my tan on.

I love the Sun Spot. Been withthem on and off for 10 years. They always remember my name and am ready for me by the time i walk in. They are awesome.

This place is VERY clean, I have been to a lot of tanning salons and this place is hands down the friendliest and cleanest. Also I've never had to wait longer that an few minutes for a bed IF at all. Great prices and the staff is very helpful when picking out lotions!

I was so impressed I had to write a review. I've had about 30 airbrush tans in my time. My normal place was closed on the holiday so I called and dropped in at Sunspot. I have to say I was stunned at my result. I guess I always thought what I got was good until I came here. I am a customer for life! The owner did mine so not sure if others do this. She is an amazing artist. If you want to be perfect and look natural gals this is your place. Am loving it! Terri DeLong

Logged on here to find a phone number and saw the knucklehead remark above. She MUST be confusing her tanning places. Sun Spot has over 13 (12 or 13) regular beds. After 8 years of going I really am trying to recall if I EVER had to wait...is she kidding me?! Seems a bit embellished to me.

In my opinion, there are plenty of other places with professional people, always available beds and reasonable membership rates without ridiculous restrictions. Soon after signing up I found frequent long waits and for those first few times some staff member sweetly offered "upgraded bed use" which is wonderful but then after those first few times they wouldn't offer anything other than the "offer" to upgrade my membership for a fee. I wouldn't need an upgraded membership if the wait was reasonable. Time after time the better beds were open with people waiting in the lobby to get to the basic beds and I'm sorry but I basically think that is wrong! I think they deliberately keep down the number of basic beds to force the fees that come with the much more expensive packages. I've voiced my concerns and they apparently could care less. I am canceling my membership. I hate complaining about anything but thank you for your time.

I love this place and so do all of my friends! Huge and coolest decorated salon in town...super clean. A family business so the same faces and they are warm people. MILITARY pay $12.95 per mo....WE LOVE you Sun Spot!!
