I have never had problems with RMD One time my trash did not get picked up I called and it was picked up later that day. The person on the phone is always polite to me. I think they are great

We have used RMD for many years and they were always great. Until the last few years, when the pickup is late, if they come at all. Today for instance, we have been waiting 5 hours for pickup (after all, RMD insists that our trash be out by 7 a.m.), so I called. I was told that it will be picked up tomorrow; they are one day late picking up. No one called, no one put a notice on their website. I've had it with this company and I would switch however all the reviews I read don't seem to be good for any other disposal pickup service in town. What happened to good customer service? I guess when you get taken over by a bigger company, money is the only important thing.

Here is the wonderfully service you will receive from Rocky Mountain Disposal! 3 different occasions they have picked up everyone's trash but ours and they are paid by an independent company that is current on payment. Not once, not twice but 3 separate occasions have left our trash a mess! I have personally had to drive my trash to the dump because they won't pick it up and we can't switch to another company because it's mandated through the HOA. Even after calls to complain there is no action taken.

don't like new mgmt

We used to really like this company until the new mgmt. took over. Can't keep their equipment running reliably and keep raising their rates even though the company policy had been not to. no explanation. Only reason we stayed with them was they bring cans back to house. This kept them from blowing away. But, after years of this service, they stopped doing it. Called them and oh yes, they do it, but there is an extra charge for it. No notice that they were going to do it... just did it. So, it was another rate increase.
Dropping them at the next billing cycle.

They should get NO stares, I have been with them for 4 going 5 years never had a issue, till today and i call to get an issue resovled and the office staff has no idea how to handle rhe issue but to be rude!!!

Been with Rocky Mountain disposal since '04 never had a problem. Lil hiccup now and then but always resolved. For the last 2 weeks I havnt had my trash picked up. I called and spoke to the receptionist and explained my issue. Told her that today (my pick up day) that the driver drove right by my can and when I called out to them they just drove off. The receptionist then told me that my account was on freeze because of lack of payment since August. It's sept 15. I explained that we never received the bill. All she said was "its not our fault maybe it's ur mail person". Now I've had the same mail lady for last 11yrs and never a problem with her or the post office. I inquired then if u didn't receive a payment then why weren't we notified or called. Never been late before! With an attitude she said "We're short staffed and we can't just call all 400 clients that are delinquent". I told her I get that, but I've been a very loyal customer and if there was a problem then a quick inquiry to the situation would be justified. She said, " it's not our fault, call the post office".being argumentative and cutting me off as I spoke she seemed not to care. She asked if I wanted to pay the bill I told her to take my payment. $19..............! Are you serious. 11 yr customer and your gonna let me go for $19????!!!! I'm in the customer service industry and I would have been fired if I had acted in this kinda disrespectful manner to a customer!!! Gave her my acct number and canceled my acct. She didn't seem to care either that I was gonna call the owner. When I started to read the other reviews seems someone else spoke to the owner and the owner said "oh well". Never want I'll will but I hope more ppl read these reviews and cancels their services. Subs then they will realize the need for loyal customers. Best way has better prices and customer service standards! Learn from this

Like many others I wish I could give them zero or negative stars!! See we just moved to the area, when a man from their company walked up to my front door and knocked. He was pleasant and welcomed me to the area and than of course doing his job, he proceeded to tell me about their special for service. I felt it was a great deal so I decided hey what the heck I don't have to spend the time tracking down a services myself so I signed up. With just moving I told the gentalman if he could wait until the first when I get a pay check he could bill me. All was happy he left I had service .... Waited and waited until the 30th came and I received a phone call from their office manger asking if they could take my payment that day because the first was a sat. I responed so sorry for that but I can't as I stated on the paper their would be no funds available until the next day. Rudly beth replied with " well than I don't know what to tell you we can't pick up Monday without payment today" I again said I was sorry but if she could bill me Monday it would be there. She again with a smart answer told me "sorry you will have to wait until next billing cycle on the 10th and we will deliver a can that day" I Said ok and kinda just dealt with it because it was outta my control. Today I expected a trash can and to be charged witch neither happend. So I decided to check in and see what was going on or perhaps she forgot about me. When I asked she rudely responded "NO YOU DONT HAVE A TRASH CAN BECUASE YOU DIDNT PAY" confused as to why she was talking to me in this manner when simply I've just been waiting over a month for trash service!?! I mean I just moved here and am a new customer is this the way I should be treated ?? When I asked beth if I could speak to a supervisor because she was being rude for no reason she responded with " well I'm the manger so you will just have to deal with me" ....... Dumb founded I said are you kidding me you are talking to a customer in this manner and I simply want my trash picked up because its been a month and my garage STINKS !! SHE TOLD ME IF I DIDNT LIKE IT SHE COULD CANCEL MY SERVICE............ WTF SERVICE ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ??? YOU HAVENT DONE ANYTHING. SHE RESPONED WITH HANGING UP ON ME AND THEN SCREENING MY CALLS AFTER! I refuse to be treated like that when I'm a new to the area and their are plenty of other trash pick up companies witch I tell you I called bestway right after this and tony was wonderful took my payment and is sending someone to my house to pick up all the trash that has built up because I have been waiting on rocky mountain to come for over a month !! Do yourself a favor if your new to the area get best way and forget the deal rocky mountain is providing it may be cheaper but the ppl that work their have ugly hearts and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS !! I know I'm a manger of a retail store myself beth would be out my door quicker than you could blink!! If you read this (owner of rocky) do yourself a favor and get rid of her she represents your company in the worst way ever !!!!!!!!

worst company! I would never refer them to anyone. Left garbage all over my driveway numerous times. Some weeks, they wouldn't even pick up the garbage and if they did, they would keep the containers. Horrible horrible horrible

This company has the worst customer service I have ever seen! I spoke with Beth the manager, she was rude & totally unprofessional. I made the comment "you don't appreciate your customers, do you" she said "NO". Unbelievable, I canceled service called Springs Waste got same 95 gal container $12 cheaper. Thanks Beth

I paid for 6 months and found a better price elsewhere. They wanted a $25 cancellation fee. There is no written policy for this and it was never stated when I began service that there would be an early cancellation fee. They just make up their own policy? WTF! They could say it's $100 since it's not in writing. FRAUD. BEWARE! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

Beware of UNADVERTISED Fees

I wanted to cancel my pickup service. I had paid 6 months in advance. I was told to cancel there was a $25 cancellation fee! This was never mentioned when I began service. I was told it was their "policy." When I asked for a copy of their policy, I was told they didn't have one in writing. FRAUD!!!

I've used this company for about 2 yrs now and have NEVER had a problem. They have always been very customer friendly. And the guys on the truck are always pretty nice too..can where it should be and a returned wave if u wave at them����

I had good service for approximately 6 months then one week they did not show up to my house to pick up trash. When I called and spoke to the Office manager, which I believe is the only employee they have besides the owner, she told me that they were not able to come until Monday. This was a Friday and I have a family of five. No explanation as to why they did not come in the first place. I told her that I would have approx. 3-4 more bags then my usual just over the weekend and her response was basically...oh well. Bad customer service. I agree...No way to run a business.

Recycling is a joke

I was very excited when Rocky Mtn Disposal started recycling. My excitement was short lived. Several times I put a recycling bin out and instead of dumping it they took the whole bin. I sent an e-mail to customer service and never received a reply. Then after awhile they just quit picking up the recycling at all. Recycling is important to me so I am changing companies.

Beware. Called, gave my address, was told yes, they do service my area, promised great rate. Called my current provider, cancelled my service. Then called Rocky Mtn again, gave my address once again to double check, was assured I was good to go. 2 days before pick up, receive call that says, sorry, we don't service your area. Spoke with owner, he says oh, well. Horrible service. No way to run a business.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I signed up for service on 11 January 2013. I paid for an entire year of service. I was told I would have my can on Monday or Tuesday (14/15 January). My scheduled pick up day was Thursdays. I did not have a Rocky Mountain Can by Thursday (17 January). I had some items in a standard trash can by my garage, that the driver picked up and disposed of, problem is IT WAS NOT TRASH! Contacted the company when I got home from work and found the trash can on the curb (even though “Your trash can will ALWAYS be placed back by your garage”). They told me that since it was in a trash can, it was trash and they had no responsibility for the taking/loss of the items. I asked to speak to a supervisor about the issue and was told he would call me back. On 18 January, my wife contacted the company to find out what they were going to do about the improper taking of our property and was told, again, that since it was in a trash can outside, it is trash and that they had no liability in the matter. They also said that they did not want our business, and that they would be by to pick up their trash can (which was delivered Friday 18 January in the evening) and that a refund check for our payment would be sent out immediately. They also said to not contact them any further as that would constitute harassment. The trash can sat out on the curb until sometime on Tuesday. (23 January) before then got around to picking it up. I waited until 7 February 2013, contacted the company to get a status on the refund. I was told that it would take 4-6 weeks. I informed them that we were told the refund check would be sent out IMMEDIATELY. Again, got the “it takes 4-6 weeks to cut a check”. Fine, I waited. It is now the 6th of March 2013, 7 weeks since they cancelled service. I called to check the status of the refund check. They said the refund wasn’t requested until 7 Feb 2013. Now they want me to wait 4-6 weeks from THAT date to receive a refund! So I have been out over $200 for going on two monthes while they play the we will get to it game. Next I expect the “CHECKS IN THE MAIL” excuse.

I could not find my bill so I mailed my check to their street address. Beth kept calling me to say I had not paid. She NEVER replied to the fact that I MAILED a PAYMENT, to the street address, not the POB. I involved the BBB and Beth would NEVER answer their SEVERAL attempts. I would like to speak to the owner for I had their service over 9 years. Beth had the driver remove my pick up can and never replied to my issue. BBB sent me a letter that the company NEVER replied to their attempts and I had sent them a copy of my check.

Been a customer with them for 5 years, when i first picked them as my trash company they were awesome. Guys on the truck were very courteous and went out of their way for customer service, however with in the last few months things have truly gone down hill fast. First I called up the customer service hotline to complain that my trash had not been picked up in a month, then was transferred to a very rude "supervisor" named Beth, she talked over me from the get go told me i was in the wrong for not calling 24 hours after the first missed pick up and that it was my fault that they were not providing the service that I was paid up for until May. After her talking over me I decided that the company did not actually care about customer service like they claim on their website. So I had decided to ask for a refund and cancel my service. Beth had then said fine, bye! and hung up on me. So I called again today to find out why my money was not returned to me, and she told me she never hung up on ANYONE and that my money will be returned within 4-6 weeks then once again and bye! and hang up. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT!
