Time was, you knew if you went to. Sunflower you could count on getting quality care. Not so much anymore. Not only have the good doctors left, the people they have left are either incompetent or just lethargic, it is really hard to tell. When a "doctor" has to look up treatment options on her smart-phone, or when the receptionist is stopping patients as they head out the door to check the "doctor's" work, you're better off seeking care elsewhere. Also, I wouldn't describe what you get at. Sunflower as "Urgent Care," it more closely resembles, "care when we decide to get to you, and when we do, we'll just give you a cursory exam and then maybe prescribe something, without doing any kind of real 'doctorly' work." Go somewhere else, your body will thank you!

I've been seeing Dr. Carter for years, from when he started at that "other" practice. I called today to make an appointment for my visiting son who has a sore throat, and before they even asked what my name was, or what my son's name was, they asked what his insurance was. I'm appalled.

I am extremely pleased to see Dr. Carter move from a lesser-caring conglomerate to a smaller more caring practice. Sunflower Family seems to be a caring place that will assist you in anyway you need. I appreciate the care Dr. Carter has given my family and me over the years and am more than willing to follow him to his new site. Thank you Sunflower Family for accepting him in.######I was accepted into this medical facility with open arms and a smiling face. Thank you for the warm reception.
