SEEN AT LAST MINUTE

Well my morning started off having an appt at Talaa hair braiding salon. I had an appt at 10AM when I tried calling nobody picked up and it said open but the doors were locked and lights were off. I was so pissed so I google Molad and saw the reviews I was desperate on getting my hair done so I went anyways. I went in and there was a woman by herself I asked could she see me and she said yes even though she had an appt at 1 by this time it was 10:50. Anyways she picked out my hair color and began on my hair Talaa hair braiding shop called me back at 11:30AM .... Sorry but you're a bit too late. I strongly recommend Molad it's a shop trying to come up but she got me in last minute I'm extremely grateful. Oh and I told the lady to be gentle on my edges and she was you have to take care of your edges or they will fall out Colorado is cold keep them moisture and don't try to leave them in for long

Worst Braiding Shop

This is the worst shop I've ever been too. I've been getting my hair braided for years and I've never been to a shop where the Africans rip you off. First off, they don't close until 6, I called and they told mw due to time if I came in they wouldn't wash my hair because they were closing soon. I told them I don't want my hair braided and it was dirty so I want it washed, so she tried to charge me $10 just for washing. Of all the shops I've been too, no matter what time you come, they have to finish/do your hair even if you're there after closing. I understand of it's a hour before closing, but 3.. Also, the shop is raggedy. Nothing but 2 chairs and a mirror, even if they just opened they couldve finished doing the shop up. Also, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!! I've always paid $180 for zillions and the price includes, wash (if I don't wash at home, they'll do it), the zillions AND the hair is included (human). Molaad charges $10 to wash, $180 for zillions, and you have to pay for hair! Total rip off. Needless to say, I walked out and will not be returning. I'm taking my business and money to Talaa!!

Worst place ever!

I had an appointment and I show up nobody greets me. I tell them my appointment time and then they ignore me for a while. Btw there's no seating. It's just a room with two chairs and a tv...super sketch. As I awkwardly wait, mind you everyone in the room was busy doing hair, meaning they did not have a chair for me even though I had scheduled an appointment. A lady gives me a cell phone to talk to someone. So...the lady who was supposed to do my hair wasn't even there, she forgot! She tried to make another appointment but I was not going back there! They wasted my time, gas, and patience. Will never recommend or go back to this place.

WORST!!!!!!!!! This was the wo...

WORST!!!!!!!!! This was the worst day of my life. I have natural hair. And, I knew braiders weren't gentle, so I spent the whole of last night softening and making sure it was ready to be braided. I went to this store, and I will literally regret this day for the rest of my life. I have 1 year and a half of hair on my head. And these low life hair salonists still thought my hair wasnt fine enough and proceeded to comb it, rake through it, and blow dry it, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS UNTANGLED. Needless to say, I lost half of my head that day. And the thing that gets to me the most, I repeatedly told them to not comb it, to not do this, to not braid my edges, but these hair salonists would not listen to me. And did whatever they wanted to. I guess it was because I seemed a teenager, they thought they could take advantage of me, but really, they were terrible. They would talk in french everytime I kindly requested them to stop doing something and it was obvious they were just bashing me behind my back. And the final result sucked, It was ugly, and it was popping out in front. Plus, I looked like I was bordgerline bald in the scalp area due to them braiding tight and not heeding my instructions. And, now, I'm sitting here on my computer, taking my braids outout, going to cut my lovely, natural, and now damaged here 4 inches, because they took out everything. I hate this hair salon. I will never be going back, and I won't get braids for a long long time. If not forever. I'm pretty much shaken at the moment. And I'm crying my eyes out all due to this hair salon and their mean mean ways. DO NOT GO HERE. I REPEAT, do not come here. It is not worth it. Even if you have permed hair, trust me, I see the people walking into this hair salon, and their edges are all F***ED up. And now I know why. And how can you even be a hair dresser, yet you have messed up hair. Point blank, its despicable. These people are rude and will screw up your hair if you go. Also they change the prices according to how rich or poor you look. They charged me 100 last time cause I came with a parent, yet they charged me 80 this time because I came by myself. Anyway, It will take me years to undo the damage they caused, and I would not like my experience to be repeated by some unknowing person who wants to get their hair done in this awful place. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

I have braided my hair 4 times...

I have braided my hair 4 times and my daughter's 2 times at Molad African Braiding , and I have never regretted my going there... Every time I went or took my daughter to Molad, our hair were braided professionally and in a welcoming environment. Their rates are cheaper than even those that do illegal hair braiding at home.. I would recommend you do your hair at Molad. every one of their staffs are professional, they will bring the beauty look you never thought possible out of you.
