I've been using L and L for my service for 6yrs, they have always been amazing! From grabbing my trash from by the house when I've forgotten to take it to the street, to taking extra bags (when needed). When I had a couch that needed to be junked, I called and scheduled it's pick, they picked it up (it was a reclining full sized couch, very heavy). They charge 3 months at a time, for a low rate. One cycle I missed paying, they continued to pick up my trash for the whole 3 months anyways, and reminded me I had missed a payment. When ever I call, they are incredibly kind and considerate! They also know this city very well. My parents have been using their services for over 6yrs as well.

Service is not what it USED to be

My FAMILY has used L & L since it 1st opened by the Laxton family. Over the past 3 years service hass been as its WORST in 35 years. My mother who is 79 has been a charter customer for over 30 years. BUT each week she has to make a call to have the company do its one job. And that is take ALL the trash. Recently, partial pick ups have been happening and it is UNACCEPTABLE!! Maybe I need to reach out to my media contacts at KCBR or KKTV11 to have them investigate WHY a disposal company would not want to pick up am elderly charter members trash??!?

L&L Disposal missed my pickup by 2 days. Each time I called, there was no one answering the phone. When I finally got a hold of someone I received the "Broken Truck" line. This is not the first time I had gotten this response. We will be switching service providers.

Terrible service. I was skipped for a month straight then they tried to blame it on the fact that I hadn't paid yet. I told her that I called about it before when I got skipped the first 2 times and she said as long as I paid before the end of the cycle. There was also no due date on my bill. Then when I told her that she said they didn't know if I continued service as when they drove by there was nothing there. Lies back to back. I'm going to discontinue my service. Tired of getting the run around

We had excellent, reliable service until the time we had to terminate service with L & L due to a move out of state. I called to cancel services two weeks prior to moving out of state in November of 2014. Marci (the receptionist) told me services were canceled. I then received a bill 2 months later for the next three months of services. I called to cancel and Marci assured me she had canceled the services this time. Here it is, April, and we received another bill. I called and Marci claimed she couldn't cancel our account. She was rude, unprofessional, and confrontational. When I asked for a written confirmation that our services had been canceled, she said no that she was telling me they had been. When I prompted again for written confirmation she hung up on me. During the time we lived in CO, L & L provided us with excellent trash service; however, when it comes to customer service, the company is more than lacking.

Would be zero if I could

Their customer service is rude. Drivers can't drive and will destroy your property. I have been dealing with the same problem with them for 5 months and it's still not fixed. Their answer to call the police and have them deal with it.

Oil Spill

I've been an L&L customer for almost 9 years. I have absolutely no complaints about their service. They do an excellent job collecting both trash cans and I sometimes have yard debris (branches, etc..) that they always collect. My major problem with L&L are their Garbage trucks; they leak oil like you would not believe! It's gotten to the point now where there is a PUDDLE of oil in front of my drive way. My wife drove through it (can't really miss it) and now oil tracks cover my driveway. Extremely frustrating. If this problem is not fixed in the next couple weeks, we'll be going to a new company.

worst service ever!!! lazy sloppy messy!! had them for months ...theh "miss "days with no explanation... leave trash EVERY WHERE.. i ended up paying fines to hoa because of their horrible service...to make matters worse their customer service is IGNORANT,actually yelled at me when i called to ask why they skipped for thd second time in A MONTH.. .. WAS TLD tl be patient theyd come on moday after spilling Trash And rotten milk gallons out of their truck on to my curb!!! cant believe they are still in business!!tried to give them a chance as a proudly black owned company..what a SHAME!!!

Jim; My family and I have had L&L for 3yrs. I really think that they are a very good company. The rates are good. They have never missed a day. Why should you complain about good help.

Recycling ???

Cons;They advertize recycling, they say they put it in the cab of the truck. Somethings we wait to put the papers out when we know we will be home early to see if they really recycle. Labeled Recycle on the box, separate it from the trash and bang, it's thrown in the back of the truck with the rest of the garbage. We've seen this about five times, called every time, and nothing gets resolved. If you're not going to recycle, just say it. Several times I've had to pick up garbage all through the street and yard when they miss the truck.Many times I have to park in the street and move the trash cans because they're thrown in the middle of the driveway blocking the entrance.Pros;Reasonable pricePretty reliable on pick-ups.

Their Customer Service is horr...

Their Customer Service is horrible. First, you cannot get them to answer the phone before about noon. This would be okay, if their voicemail box wasn't ALWAYS full. When you do get someone on the phone, they seem like they are being heavily sedated. Half the time they don't remember to even ask for a call back number, so if they have to convey further information to you, YOU better remember to MAKE THEM write your number down. The guys on the truck - half the time left stuff at the bottom of my garbage cans.



Their billing is seriously antiquated... they are still using dot matrix printers, so when they print out a bill (which is on a little scored post card - no return envelope), half the time you can't read out what's written on the bill. Good luck even getting the bill, the other half of the time. HOWEVER, if you forget to pay a bill, THEY ARE VERY FORGIVING (they will continue to collect your trash). Oh, and God forbid, DO NOT forget to include your account number on your check, or you won't get credit for the payment (even if you return the stub with your payment!).



You may save a little money, but save yourself some headaches and just use a bigger company and pay a few buck more a month... It'll be well worth your time.

We used this disposal service ...

We used this disposal service for about 8 years and really only stopped because we wanted to add recycling service & they didn't offer that. The price was always great over the years and the guys were consistently excellent - reliable, courteous, thorough! However, the office staff is another story. After cancelling the service, we have continued to be billed over the course of the last year. I can't imagine it is very difficult to deactivate an account but the admin staff are baffled. The phone is often busy or unanswered.

Great Company !!!!

Reasonable rates, good service and dependable. That is rare this day and age. I like them better than Bestway and save money. They are good people. I recommend them totally!

I don't where the rest of you people are from and I'm sorry for you... BUT I have had this company for 4 years. I have NEVER had a problem. In fact I didn't put my trash out cuz it was a holiday and thought they guys were off. Well 8am rolled around I heard a truck looked out & they were reachng over my fence to get my can - dumped it -put it back over my fence. Sometimes I'm busy or running late and forget to put out my trash, they never missed me. I am so happy wth the service I get I refer anyone who asks to call these guys. They are awesome.

I know what I'm talkig about to, I've been in the industry for the past 11-12 years, AND NOT WITH THIS COMPANY!. I am on the construction end of it.

As for the rude who-ever --- have any of you had to talk to 300 to 500 people like yourselves. IT AIN'T EASY!!! Give 'em a break..

Great service for 3 1/2 years

I've had no problems with this company picking up my trash for 3 1/2 years here in the Cheyenne Canon area. They're a local company, they're cheaper than some of the chains, and I'm more than pleased with their service.

Outstanding service at a good price

I have used them for three years and couldn't be happier with the service, I recommend them to everyone I know who lives in Colorado Springs. I am disappointed that I will be relocating outside of their service area.

Service is awful

My mother and I have been using L & L for about 3 years now and for the past 2 years, we have been rather dissatisfied. The men who pick up the trash treat the trashcan roughly and have broken off the wheel on the can. They also broke the lid's ties that keep it on the can itself. Not only that, the times we have called their customer service, the woman who answers the phone is rude and inconsiderate. I would not recommend this trash service at all.

Just kept getting worse and worse

Service 3 1/2 years. I was paying for 2 cans service. They refused to pick up my 2 cans and was told I had to many trash bags in my 2 cans. They threw my trash bags and cans in the yard. I received a 42 dollar bill for that 1 month and they only pick up trash for 1 week. (Nice billed me for 3 month service instead of 1 week).First time I received the bill before it was due! I'm not paying, no service no money! Also turning into BBB!
