In response to Maria G. I was servicing the surrounding units for pests at the request of management. They take a proactive approach to making sure their complex is free of insects. When the tenant in question asked me "what poison" I was using, I stated to her, the product I was using was a green product called alpine bait. (A gel bait that has been approved by the EPA as being green.) She then stated her daughter was pregnant and didnt want any chemicals applied to their unit. I obliged her request and went on to do an "inspection only" of insects in their unit. After I was done, the tenant, wanted to know what I was using in the surrounding units. I told her what I was using but she didnt understand. So I explained to her I would email her management, immediately, with the MSDS sheet and the product label and she would have that information at the end of the day. I sent the information to management as requested, and management called her to let her know her information on the product I was using was waiting for her in the office. Management also told me she ignored the information I sent. Unfortunately, this tenant did not accept my business card to further explain the bait I was using. The only unprofessional attributes demonstrated here was by the tenant unwilling to acquire the knowledge I had in the product I was using.

Our apt complex was being serviced and upon your tech entering, I asked what chemical were being used, and if there were any health risks associated. My daughter is 7 month pregnant and has had several issues already, its our right to know what is being used. I requested a MSDS sheet & with an unappreciated attitude was questioned why I wanted it, he didn't use the chemical. Its safe or so he claimed & the chemical was used in the unit adjacent and below us. As the tech was walking away he said he would email it. Highly unprofessional ... Didn't think requesting a MSDS sheet would be such a hassle.

I have history with academy pest control. Before i owned a home my landlords went through them. I'd had them come before for any trouble and they were always friendly and took care of it right away. I have called academy pest control two separate times since owning a home . Each time, they have responded absolutely professionally. I called about a wasp problem in my house. I am horrible with names, but whoever answered took the time to thoroughly explain to me everything I needed to know about wasps. I was calling expecting to have them come out ASAP after telling them about my problem, but instead I got an honest answer - "I can get the job done that you'd like, but you'd be wasting your money" and he proceeded to explain to me the nature of wasps and how I can take care of it on my own ...I covered the entrance from where the wasps were entering the house and I have not seen one since. These people get payed to come to our house, it's how they get food on their table. Instead of taking advantage of me to make easy money, they took the time to educate me instead of charging me right off the bat for a problem that may have possibly resolved itself. In my opinion, they have shown what a true trustworthy company looks and acts like. Thank you academy pest control!

I have had the pleasure of doing business with this company for years. John displays the caring and integrity that shows he truly cares about his work and his customers. This company can't be beat for its humane, effective service...not to mention value, too.

We have had your guy out to spray a couple of times over the last year and a half and find him to be a wonderful and knowledgeable guy. He knows his stuff, and is a very agreeable and easy to talk to person. His name is Josh (not sure of the last name) and we will continue to use Academy Pest Control primarily because of your worker and your rates.
