Shummate automotive is a rip off. I had my truck towed there. They told had a bad gas sensor and charged me 485.00. They call me and said my truck was running fine and it was ready to be picked up. After paying the truck wouldn't start. Then they handed me a piece that had broke. They claim this happen while they was starting it. So they just received 485.00 for nothing. Needless to say I will do a stop payment and retain a lawyer to correct this. Don't waste your time.

Shumates is honest, reliable and friendly.My wife and I use them for all of our inspections, maintenance and repairs.So, why didn't I give them five stars? A few picky things:1. Some of the more advanced stuff is beyond their scope. For example. they can't tell me why the Check Engine light on my Beetle is on. 2. No WiFi in the waiting area and, worse, a loud TV in the waiting area. (See what I mean about picky?)
