Doug is a very flaky guy he has problems with his temper and is a narcissist all of his employees are subcontractors and uninsured and his insurance does not cover sub-contractors for liability I answered a help wanted ad last Friday and he hired me to start Monday morning I met him at Home Depot and he told me to follow him to the job site I asked for the address and he said he did not know the address so the business owner does not know the address of his job site hmmmm I found him on the interstate Monday morning he was driving over 80 miles an hour in the rain and switching lanes like a NASCAR driver he was in the fast lane and at the last moment crossed all 3 Lanes to exit I could not follow him so I went to the next exit and turned around and call him he gave me directions and when I got off to turn towards the job he told me to go right but he meant left after driving for 10 minutes and not finding the road he said I should find I called him and he was at the job site and give me the address I put it in my GPS and I was 20 minutes from my destination when I arrived he was no longer at the job site and one of his workers told me he said to send me home he did not want me if I couldn't find the job site I made several attempts to call him and he will not answer my calls or return my text what a coward

I worked a week an he never paid me the 650 he owes me. Also my buddy is still owed 850.00. He subs all work an does no taxes. Just a shady shady guy.

We had Doug and his crew install a new deck for us last year. They were polite, hard working, and kept us up to date on our project. I had just given birth to our youngest daughter, and he and his family went above and beyond and got both of our girls a gift. It was so thoughtful. I'd recommend this family-oriented business to anyone. We love our new deck and plan to look to Douglas Designs for any future home improvement needs.

Douglas Designs is a wonderful company! Doug is so professional and so prompt. We have had them do several projects at our home. Doug and his guys are really hard workers. They are polite, respectful and do great work. I would recommend them to everyone.

Doug, worked on the remodeling of our two bathrooms and kitchen. He was always there when he said he would be and called when he had to be late. He several times that he had to adjust the conditions of our old house to fit the new features that was needed and each time he explained what the options where and worked with us to keep the cost down and the quality high. We were very pleased with the results and would recommend him to anyone and have done so to many, because he has proven himself to be a man of his word and a man of that will see that all work is done to our satisfaction. We have several more projects planned for our home that will only be done by Douglas Designs.
