About 2 weeks after having my oil and air and cabin filters changed, my car started to run rough, sputtering and the engine light came on. I immediately took it to the dealership where they found the filter cap wasn’t reapplied properly. Problem solved! I won’t be returning to Cockeysville Jiffy Lube. Hopefully that’s all they screwed up.

They RIPPED me off today. They sold me an engine filter WITHOUT replacing my engine filter.



I came for an Oil Change, wanted a conventional one and not a synthetic, I own a Toyota. So a conventional will do. I was pulled out of the waiting room and the guy got my information such as name and address. Then he told me I needed to get Synthetic because my car requires that and that my car even says it on there (pointing to it) I saw and said OK. Then he said my engine air filter was dirty and even showed it to me, he said you need to be able to see thru it and so I said ok. Oil change and engine air filter.



I got in my car getting ready to go home, and I noticed that there is a big printer like machine on the passenger seat. It was my Glove compartment! I asked someone to fix it. and he did.



I kept asking questions, how come they did this. He said its because your car has 2 engine filters, one inside the engine and one below your glove compartment.



So then I said "ok,I paid for one of them look" (pointing to my receipt.) Which one is this that I paid for? He checked as he was putting the glove compartment back together he said not this one. He then asked me to pop the hood for him to check and it wasn't that one either.



I learned my lesson. ALWAYS check and make sure they aren't pulling a fast one on you.



They took advantage of me because I am young and am a female. It's not right. I am very hurt about this. I went home telling my boyfriend about it and just feeling like I can't trust anyone.



I'm glad this experience happened because It will only make me stronger and have me making sure to always check. They then refunded me 25$ for the air filter that was never installed. They said they were out of stock....I was very disappointed.. and sad.



I still ended up paying 99$ even after a 10$ coupon. I have no idea why, I will be returning to the store tomorrow to settle things. Everything was good about this place, they were nice to me, opened the door, offered coffee, opened the door to my car when I got in. Customer service is great. BUT they do it because they will rip you off. Its sort of like a trade off.



Just Beware everyone.



Please Check that you got what you paid for. Do not drive away without checking.

These ppl are scumbags. I cannot believe ppl like them can sleep at night knowing they have done someone dirty. Its just so sad.

I always get great service at this store. Dan is exceptional, and always has great customer service skills. Thanks!
