The Child & Career Development Center is a multifaceted, comprehensive educational facility for students with severe disabilities. Located in Coatesville, Pa., it offers academic programs to students in kindergarten through grade 12. The center offers a variety of support services for students with specialized needs, including work study, adaptive physical education, and speech, physical, occupational, vision and hearing therapies, as well as extended school year programs. The Child & Career Development Center offers customized classes by evaluating and placing students in academic classes with other students of similar age, social skills and functional abilities. It additionally provides elective courses in music, swimming, art and adventure education.
