i.e.,We hired Kershaw Construction license #445108 July 2013 for an addition to our house. I'm very disappointed and upset with their time and money management. We were told the entire project would take approx 4 months and we're coming up to a year and it is still not complete. There were times we didn't see any workers for 1-2 weeks at a time without notice and had to call and ask what the delay was. At this time we haven't seen any workers including the contractor for 6 weeks and haven't heard from them for 3-4 weeks. at this time they haven't finished the project and told us they are busy working on other projects. We did make the mistake of paying for the project in full prior to it being completed. So far we have received notices from 3 subcontractors advising us they haven't been paid. When we inquired with Mr. Kershaw (owner/contractor) why the subcontractors weren't paid he advised he used our payments to pay other bills not related to our project. During our interview with him he did not disclose his business was on the verge of bankruptcy until we received notices from subcontractors stating they weren't being paid and we questioned why. The quality of work done is excellent and the workers and subcontractors are a great pleasure to work with, but again I'm very displeased and upset with time and money management and that the project has yet to be completed.
