The storeowner started out as a private music instructor at age 14, when he began a lesson studio of his own. Soon after, he started working as a sales associate in a local piano store where he discovered the excitement of pairing his students with pianos that would live up to their individual needs. He graduated from Hartt School of music with a concentration in piano pedagogy and performance. With the partnership of his father, Performance Pianos was founded and opened in 2004. The primary concept was to provide the greater capital district region with a retail establishment that featured pianos of very high quality at reasonable prices. Today, Performance Pianos is a successful retail establishment, providing students, amateur, and professional pianists alike with the very best, top quality acoustic and digital pianos available. In addition to being a sales showroom, Performance Pianos is also a music store featuring a private educational establishment where musical instruction is provided for piano, voice, and guitar in both private and group settings.
