Terrible buisness. AVOID THIS PLACE!! If you like wasting your time, money and being talked down to by their rude manager, this might be the place for you! They will try and overcharge you, or find "things that are wrong" when they in reality are fine. Tried to charge upwards of $200 to change break lights on my car, then Lisa the unprofessional and extremely rude manager, wanted to argue about it. STAY AWAY IF YOU VALIE YOUR TIME!

I took my truck there for tire...

I took my truck there for tires and they did over $2300.00 damage to the truck under carriage ( They lifted the truck from pinch welds not factory lift points) I took them to court and they did not even show up. The fact that they did not even show up tells me two facts-
A- THEY DID IT BECAUSE THEY DID NOT DEFEND THEIR ACTIONS by not showing up in court
B-THEY DO NOT CARE AND HAVE NO INSURANCE since they did not turn my court judgement over to there garage liability carrier which all Pa station must have.
I would not recommond them at all- Do you really want to take your car to tires etc.?

Do not go to this place. Last inspection they told me I needed new tires and brakes. I don't think so. I just had both done a week ago. Left with both inspection stickers and no new brakes or tires. Seriosly? Guess i didmt need them afterall then. This inspection I need new brakes, rotors and a new exhaust pipe. Funny how my mechanic 2 weeks ago didn't mention these. Will NEVER go there again. So much for saving money on the inspection. I'll just pay more to get honest work. What a ripoff this place is. Back to my mechanic I go. Just inconvenient that he's not open on weekends.

Very disappointing. I spent well over $2,000 on new tires and brakes around 11 months ago. I went in and complained about a noise my rear breaks were making. I was told by the manager that I need rear brakes and calipers. I contacted my local mechanic, because I've owned several cars and never had the need to replace calipers. I took it to my local mechanic who told me I correct, I did NOT need calipers at all. I than took the car to the local dealership just to make sure again, the mechanic at the dealership did not know this story and also said NO to the calipers. I'm very disappointed in Tires Etc for telling me that I needed them, when indeed I didn't. Shame on you Tires Etc for almost scamming me out of $700. You lost a customer.

We arrived at the Clifton Heights location 40 minutes before the closing time posted on the website and on the door. We just needed information and pricing on new tires. Two female employees were just getting in their cars. They said they were closed, and they could not help us unless we were picking up. We walked up to the door and sure enough, it was locked. By now, the two ladies had driven away. So much for customer service.

Tires Etc. has the most reason...

Tires Etc. has the most reasonable prices in town for quality, name brand tires. I recently purchased 4 Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires and their price per tire with install was much lower than Goodyear, Pep Boys, Sears and even Wal-Mart.

My only issue with this place is that when I called to see if they had the tires that I was looking for in stock the guy quoted me a total price (which included install, sales tax and PA tire tax) that was a little higher than what I’d come up with, so I had to squabble with him a bit to get him to knock off the few extra random dollars that he tacked on. When I arrived to have the tires installed and asked the same guy I spoke to on the phone to confirm the total price so there’d be no surprises at checkout, our numbers matched. But once the tires were on the car and it was time for me to pay, I noticed that he added the road hazard warranty that I was very clear that I did not want, which jacked the price up an additional fifty bucks. So I had to ask him again to take off the extra charge.

As far as reasonable prices for quality, name brand tires, Tires Etc. is absolutely the place to go. However, I would encourage anyone looking to buy tires from Tires Etc. to check the prices on their website before calling or going there in person to be sure that they don’t quote you a higher price than what’s advertised. And also do the math yourself to make sure they’re not including extras that you may not want or need.
