Amazing Dog, High Prices

I got my baby from here. Best personality EVER! I use to foster dogs and puppies. I went there to pick up some dog treats for my dog, my friend convinced me to front them the money for this puppy ( had wrong breed listed, she was a pomeranian maltese) I know because thats what my other dog is. She was a little fluff ball, ended up being around 5-6lbs. Temperment was amazing, she was a lover. I ended up keeping her. I paid over $800.00 for her. They told me she was due for her next shots following morning. I took her to vet (which they said shots would be paid for, if I didnt want to risk having someone else adopt her and leave her there for the night). I took her to the vet they recommended, since they had her shot info. Even though the "shots we already paid for" somehow it still cost me $300. She also had intestinal parasites (somewhat expected). She might as well be my child, even though she was priced way more than what you would normally pay for the breed ($250ish) what I know now I would have paid every cent in my bank. I can not express how amazing her attitude amd personality was. Great lines. If they ever have a "party mix" pomeranian maltese and you're looking for a small breed hypo-allergetic dog, this is your dog!!

I got a puppy there a year and half ago. Great dog.. Great people. They even called me a week later to make sure the dog was ok. I doubt they are from puppy mills my vet says my dog is in great shape. They dont even carry that many dogs there. when i went they only had 6 dogs for sale and none where the same breed. For the woman saying her dog got cancer after 7 years may I remind you that most dogs have a life span of 8 to 15 year with larger breeds having the shortest life span. Also she had 7 years feeding that dog, who knows what. Just like people some dogs get sick.

I had to respond to the review below. First, Kamms Plaza's puppies are ABSOLUTELY without question from puppy mills. Kansas is home to the largest and poorly run puppy mills in our country. (do a search on Kansas puppy mills). If you look up Kibbe Kennels in Beloit KS, people in the area that have been to the facility say it's a puppy mill. Aside, they sold to a pet shop and shipped their puppies to Ohio. That alone screams puppy mill. All puppies mills ARE inspected by the USDA, but they aren't done as often as they should be, they are announced visits and the standards are disgustingly low. (do a search on USDA puppy mill inspections). Additionally, there are vets who get nearly 100% of their business from puppymills like Kibbe's. Of COURSE they aren't going to speak poorly about them, it makes up their entire business!!!

I bought a puppy at Kamms Plaza pets in 1999 she also came from Kibbe's kennels (the sheer number of breeds that come out of there is also an indicator that they are a puppy mill) . At the time, I didn't know any better and she became my heart. From the start she had MAJOR adjustment issues, separation anxiety, etc. We worked through it with training and lots of love and she became an awesome pet. She was diagnosed with lymphoma at the age of 7 years old and shortly after leukemia. Extremely young for such diseases and both diseases are hereditary. DIRECTLY linked to bad breeding and puppy mill conditions. I did a ton of research, talked to a ton of people and there is NO DOUBT that Kamms Plaza pets is getting their puppies either directly or indirectly (through brokers) from puppy mills. They will deny it, they will have vets that will deny it, etc. but the truth is out there. You just have to dig for it.
