Actually it deserves zero stars, but i don't know if that's an option. I just moved to Cleveland and was having a hard time finding anyone to install a window AC. These were the only guys who said they could, but they had to come out and do a survey--check the electricity and the air flow and such. The old guy running the business can barely hear, seems senile, and hardly lets his assistant, who looked miserable the whole time they were in my apartment, speak. He is a total bully. This i found out after meeting them, which i should not have.



I made an appointment for them to come out and look at the place, but after speaking with another company about portable ACs instead of window units, i decided i would buy one of those and not use their services. I called to cancel the appointment with them and HE WOULDN'T LET ME CANCEL. He said that if i got the wrong type of AC i would have problems. Somehow he convinced me he needed to check the place to make the right recommendations. I'm the stupid one here for not insisting that he go about his day.



I called my property manager and they said the guys didn't need to measure anything, just don't let them in. I didn't want to be unethical and waste more of their time, so i decided to call them again and cancel because i really don't need their services, but he was already in front of the building. He accused me of wasting their time and said he was still going to charge me the service fee just for coming out there, and stick a bill in my mailbox. When i think about it, i'm not sure how he would do that, since the building is locked and so is my mailbox. He said he would take me to court over it. I kind of panicked, because i don't know what people can do when their have your legal name and phone number. He didn't have any other information, so i'm the naive one here. I didn't want any problems with my credit or any collections agencies getting ahold of me somehow. I feel like a total idiot, but people should know what kind of person runs this company. I fee bad for his sad looking assistant, unless that's all part of their act.



They didn't do much--they checked the outlets for voltage and measured the windows and part of the apartment. I had already measured everything the night before. And charged me $85 for it. I wish i had just ignored them when they came. My property manager said they couldn't have done anything about it. I've never dealt with independent contractor handymen before, so i didn't know what i would be dealing with. Jerks like this give them all a bad name.

I hired the services of this company because my furnace would not stay on. There were soooo many things that the owner did while doing the job that were not towards my liking, too many to get into. Basically he blew out the dirt in my furnace and charged me $155 labor fee, and with that said i will NEVER EVER acquire the services of this company again!!! i only post this because i want the next person to be warned.
