I shopped at Home Depot for 20 years( I am in the construction business) and was always happy. It is not the company it used to be. In March of 2011 I bought a heating/air conditioning unit through Home depot. ARS put it in, but it was a home Depot product. Almost from day one it did not work right. Home Depot ( and ARS) didn't seem to care. We fought with them for a year and a half for them to figure out what the problem was.Only after it finally froze up did they come out and discover that there was a problem with a coil. We are disgusted that Home Depot did not stand behind their product or their customer. After many years of having a Home Depot credit card. We paid it off and closed our account. This company will not get anymore of my money. People need to think twice before buying a big ticket item from this store. If something goes wrong, you are on your own!
