It s with very heavy heart that I write a poor review of this store. I love Ashley furniture, and when we were bed shopping, they were my first stop. Our sales associate, Felisa, was amazing and she helped us find the perfect bed for our needs. The store experience, PRIOR to buying was amazing. We spent quite a bit of money there and we thought that it would bring good service along with it. Once we bought and paid for the bed, all of a sudden we didn't matter anymore. We set up delivery and they told us they would take the old bed for us. It was on our paperwork and we confirmed it with them a few times prior to leaving. The day of delivery came, and the delivery men confirmed that they were taking the bed after setting up the new one. When they were completed, he came to tell me they were done, and started to leave. I noticed they didn't take the old bed. I asked him why and I was told that it wasn't on the invoice to do so. I said we had the conversation already and they confirmed they were taking it, PLUS I showed him the invoice that I had that said that they were to take it. He then told me the driver told him that they weren't taking it because it wasn't on the invoice. I then said, let me talk to your driver. I was told that the driver didn't speak English. I said that Ashley hires drivers that can't communicate with their customers? He said yes. I said that they weren't leaving without the bed, and that we needed to call someone. He told me that I could call whoever I wanted, that he wasn't doing it. He then picked up the phone and called someone, but wouldn't let me talk to them. I called Ashley and told the customer service person what was going on. She told me to have them wait and she'd call for me. The delivery workers went right to their truck and left. When the Ashley person came back on the phone, I told them that they left, and she was surprised that they did. In the end, she said that because there was a stain on one corner of the bed, that they couldn't take it. I said that no one told me that and of course there would be stains.. it is an old bed! That is why we were buying a new one. She confirmed that the sales associate didn't tell me about their stain policy, and that it was their fault. I told her I wanted to talk to someone who was in charge of the delivery drivers, because they were very disrespectful and provided bad service. She told me that she would have the manger call me. She then told me she would work to find someone to pick up the bed, as they made the mistake. She said she would call me back in a half hour. That was two days ago. I have received no phone calls from any one at Ashley. I am beyond upset and will no longer deal with them. If they are only going to be helpful to get your money, then I will take my money somewhere else.
