My three children have taken lessons at Neighborhood Academy of Music for the last twelve years. We have taken Kindermusik, violin, drums, piano, and guitar lessons. The rates are the same or less than other music lessons in the area. The instructors are professional and kind. We have had only positive experiences here and have recommended Neighborhood Academy of Music to multiple friends who have also enrolled and had excellent experiences.

Both of my little sisters began taking early childhood music lesson and continue till this day with guitar, piano, and drums! We are amazed with how much of an impact music has had on their lives. Having a child that needed special attention, we were so pleased to find they offered music therapy. We developed a close relationship with the music therapist (as with our other instructors), and after a year of tremendous progress she started regular lessons. We are overwhelmed each year as our girl takes the big stage to showcase her hard work and talent during the big Neighborhood Academy spring recital. They both also love the art instruction available. We are so grateful to the wonderful instructors, all of whom are highly qualified and motivated, at Neighborhood Academy of Music. The instructors continually inspire our girls and foster a passion for music. The owner, Dr. Christine Rogers PhD, and her staff are always very friendly and helpful. The facilities are accommodating for those waiting during lessons.

I studied music in college. I needed a place for my kids to get quality lessons from solid musician/teachers. My 10 year-old (drums) and 8 year-old (piano) have had lessons from pros in NJ and KY. Christine Rogers and her staff of independent contractor instructors stack up to the best. (And, we've dumped a few instructors in the past.) Now, I'm taking guitar lessons to brush up so that I can lead worship at the new church we are starting - www.3umc.com. It's been great! We particularly recommend Christine Rogers and Martha Johns for piano, Ivan Hampden for drums, and Jonathan Eggleston for guitar instruction. Caring teachers... skilled musicians.
