My wife used UC Physicians for part of her invetro process. We paid money up front and had some additional charges arrive in a bill. On the bill there was a self pay amount of $2,415.00 of which we paid. A few months go by and we get call from a collection agency for the remainder of the bill. I called at least 15 times and spoke with many different people who said they would look into it. We would call for updates only to find out the they were not looking into it. We finally get a call telling us they do not offer discounts and were waiting for a reply from our insurance. As I had stated 15 times already we were self pay and why we were receiving a discount per our bill. We were basically told we had to pay. Customer service and billing department are pathetic. They would not even send me a copy of the original bill. Buyer beware - these people are dirty.
