I'm new to the area and Salem Hardware is great! No matter what project your working on chances are Salem Hardware will have what you need.

Have been in a couple of times when someone came in looking for a specific item such as a brand specific hinge for a fence that they didn't carry and the owner Steve didn't hesitate to help them find a local business who would have it.

I honestly cannot fathom how this place stays open. I live in the neighborhood, and I truly wish to support a local business, but the owner seems unhinged. I've gone back a few times, but I can't anymore - I fear that if I ask a question he'll erupt in anger.

The owner of this store, Steve Duffey, is basically a true lunatic. I can deal with the fact that his selection is crappy and overpriced but it is hard to deal with the fact that he'll turn angry and disgusted if you ask a single question. He's a powder keg and should be avoided. Positive reviews are clearly written by the owner or his friends because if you use the store just once, you'll never want to return.

I'd be lost without Salem Hardware in the neighborhood!

Wonderful local hardware store. I miss them on Sundays but no one should have to work six or seven days a week. Keep up the great tradition! When I think of Salem Hardware, I also think of LaRosa's. Both businesses will be celebrating SIXTY YEARS of success. LaRosa's Pizza is also a family favorite.

Salem Hardware has more items that I need than the depots. I feel like I'm walking around at Kings Island from the parking lot to the store at Lowes and Depot. Finding the item is impossible and they send you to Salem anyway....

I usually find everything I need and the knowledge these people have is just amazing. I started a job doing maintenance but underestimated my skills. They helped me keep a job. Thank you!

this is a local hardware store, not some 10 acre mega complex store. although the store is small, the service is great. I like to keep my buisness in the community and this hardware store lets me do that. They have just about everything I need for all my home improvement projects. The owner is helpful and offers tips and advice for you projects.

Salem Hardware is a great little neighborhood hardware store that usually has whatever you need. Friendly, knowledgable, and experienced people anxious to help you as soon as you walk in the door. I just wish they were open on Sundays.

We have used Salem Hardware for many, many years and their service is outstanding. They stock a wide variety of even the hardest to find items (screws, nuts, bolts, toilet parts, lawn care fertilizers and small equipment, paints, and all sorts of items. What they don't have in stock, they will find and get a good price as well. We highly recommend this store!
