We have used Roto-Rooter twice this year and have been pleased with their service. They came the same day both time and fixed the problem quickly and easily. We recommend them to anyone needing quick and friendly service.

Had 2 clogs in different areas of my house. The tech was very helpful in taking care of this problem. He explained each step and also cleaned up after he was finished. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Roto-Rooter provided excellent service when I had to call them out for a drain back up. They did a great job! They came out the next day and they were professional from start to end. They worked on the problem and made sure that I understood about the problem and the steps it was taking to get it done. I could not be happier with the work that was done and would highly recommend them to anyone.

good service, I had a problem with my tub, turns out it was a warranty problem with bath fitters who didn't install our tube correctly, just waiting on bath fitter to fix the problem. plumber was very informative.

This review is for two pieces of working with Roto Rooter: 1) the customer service who handled our phone call and "scheduled" the service, 2) the technicians who actually arrived and did the work.



First, the bad. Our basement had backed-up and filled with sewage. Blech. We called more than one place to see who could come fastest. Rotor Rooter appeared to be our bet. The customer service folks we called were horrible. The promised service within 3 hours. 3 hours later we get a call that it'll be AT LEAST another 1-2 before someone comes. Suddenly we felt like we'd be had. It took forever for our technician to arrive, WELL beyond what the initial customer service rep had promised. But, what could we do at that point?



Second, the good. When our technician arrived, he was awesome. The first person I'd talked to all day who actually seemed to understand what was going on. The City had been making mistakes and suggesting things that not only didn't work, but were flat our wrong. Our technician got things going and found the source of our problem. Thank goodness. I'd easily choose our technician again and again. I'm not so sure about the customer service. But, I've only had to use them once. Everyone has bad days.

Were prompt and efficient. I had many things that needed attention, and he was efficient and did a great job. Would definitely recommend for services. I will use them in the future.

After having my problem mis-diagnosed repeatedly by another plumbing service, I called Roto-Rooter and received a visit very quickly and my problem was diagnosed within an hour. The plumbers were extremely friendly and professional (Sean Townsend and his associate). I will be using them again for any future plumbing issues.

At the end of last week, the main drains in my condo building were almost completely clogged, resulting in water backing up in the kitchen, laundry and both bathrooms. I had a friend look at the problem, but the situation definitely required extensive professional attention. One drain, as I knew from past experience, required the Condo Association removing one of my kitchen cabinets to provide access to the main line.

(We are on the eastern side of Cincinnati, but I scheduled through the main 800 phone number, so I don't know which office was involved.)

I scheduled Roto-Rooter for yesterday morning, because they had been able to resolve our similar drain problems in the past. The two techs that arrived were pleasant and efficient, and got right to work. Another very nice tech, Brent, arrived to use a camera to scan the lines outside, and showed the results to me and the Condo president; it turned out that two main lines were clogged, both the responsibility of the Condo Association.

I also asked Sean and Chris to replace my faucet in the kitchen, and they purchased and installed one I actually like better than the broken that I had chosen myself. By the end of the afternoon, my water problems were GONE, and I was able to use my sink, laundry and both bathrooms. I had been SO upset, and by the time Roto-Rooter left, I felt as if I had my life back!

Sean Townsend, the lead technician handling the main drain running under the kitchen, went far beyond my expectations. He made sure that every detail was handled with honesty, dispatch and courtesy. They all were also very neat, and tried to put things back in place as much as possible. I would NEVER call another company to take care of this kind of problem, and will request this technician when I call in the future. Excellent work and a job well done!

If a friend needed a plummer I would tell them to contact Roto-Rooter because they give the best service in town, I had a hot water heater that broke all it took was one call and my problems were corrected. I called them on 5/07/12, It was so late that I asked them if they could come the next day and I shut down my tank, The next day as promissed a very pleasant and proffesional plummer showed up as promissed and explained what had happened to my water heater, Without delay he changed the water heater, If I ever need a plummer again it will be Roto-Rooter from 2125 Montana Avenue Cincinnati OH. I thank him for such a pleasant and professioal job.

Have never used Roto-Rooter before, but I was very impressed. They called a 1/2 hour before they were going to arrive, just like they said they would. They arrived within the 1/2 hour, which was great. We had an outside drain that was clogged. They determined what needed to be done and gave a price estimate right away. They fixed the drain problem within the hour. Service men were punctual, friendly, and did a great job in a timely manner. Would recommend them to anyone!

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 10/14/11 I have to say that Roto-Rooter was Fast and Friendly from the service call to the Service Technition. We had a techiniton at our house within 1 1/2 hours of our call. I didn't expect attention that quick. We recieved a couple of calls updating us of arrival time. (very friendly). Aaron our service technition was friendly, knowledgeble and fast. He told us about several options to choose from with no pressure. Thanks for unclogging our 2 sinks and bathtub.

We called roto rooter plumbers on 09/06/11 and they were @ our home within an hour. Andrew took care of our problem. He was very courtious and professional.

We had a badly clogged drain and when I called they had someone here within the hour. Aaron was professional, knowledgable and friendly. He took care of all of our problems and made suggestions to help keep our pipes clean in the future. I would recommend Roto-Rooter for their prompt service.

Steve was courteous and helpful. After the initial quote, he set a service appointment at my convenience and while he was performing the work was careful and cleaned up what little mess he made. He was honest about what work had to be done right away and what could wait until finances available. He's earned our repeat business!

Wow! Professional, friendly,helpful and courteous. The tech even went out of his way to advise me on how to avoid similar problems in the future. It was a pleasure to work with someone that made me feel confident that they were taking care of my problem without trying to rip me off. I'll call these guys again when I have a plumbing problem. Athough I stand by my comments about Steve's repore. I must worn you of our following experience with RotoRooter. Please read before contracting with this company.



RotoRooter does not guarantee their work! We only realized this when after a week since Steve's visit we began to have sewer backups all over again. Thinking we could call RotoRooter to redo the job properly, their response was that they did not guarantee the work. As I read carefully thru the receipt I had signed, sure enough there on the receipt was the phrase "No Guarantee". I dont know about you but I have never heard of a reputable company providing services without some sort of guarantee.



In fact we were forced to bring in another plumbing company, called Affordable Plumbing. This company guaranteed their work and showed up with two service men, spent twice the amount of time on the job, ran their auger thru our entire drainage system (Steve only worked from the access near the foundation) and they found quite a bit of roots where RotoRooter claimed they did not find any roots. Affordable Plumbing did all this for far less a price.



I hope you found this before you make the costly mistake that we did.

We had a possible root problem and scheduled an appointment on line. Within an hour or so the office contacted us to let us know a repair man would be here in the next 30 minutes.



If you have a plumbing need ask for Steve from the Montana Ave. office. Steve was very pleasant to deal with and very informative. He kept us in the loop every step of the way. He stated the cost up front and even provided some free analysis of our situation. He explained everything he was doing and seemed to genuinely care about our situation. I did not feel like his analysis was for the purpose of drumming up future business but was just good information for us to know for future reference.

doing what i expected, sewer has not backed up due to root problems

My kitchen sink backed up this morning and it started to leak. Steve was there in an hour and I was all set to go an hour after that. Thanks Steve for quick, professional service!
