Beware FTA rules and sales tactics!

Recent FTA Management Problems are occurring because FTA is not focused on Customer Service & will soon lead to declining sales! FTA does offer possible deals, but recent FTA Customer Service problems make customers like me wonder if low price is worth more than increasing FTA management problems listed below:1.) FTA customer auction pickup times at McMann warehouse are now restricted to Monday, Wednesday, or Friday - 10:00AM to 3:30PM. FTA stopped allowing a customer-friendly pickup schedule during entire week and is now closed on Saturdays.2.) FTA now tries to crowd customers into restricted and slow pickup times with fewer warehouse staff at McMann warehouse. Many recent pickups over past several months took over 1 hour for staff to get several small items.3.) FTA recently started charging an unannounced additional $5 Pickup Fee per item for "Non-Standard Pickup Days". This "Non-Standard Pickup Day" buyer request must now be submitted in advance by email and only allowed if pre-approved by office staff.4.) Rude Office Staff are unwilling to reschedule auction pickup times for customers to meet customer needs. Leslie the new Front desk Receptionist gets angry easily, lectures customers in a condescending tone why these FTA changes mean more profit for FTA, and seems to like arguing with and scolding customers. I wonder how long she will last with her attitude problem...5.) FTA online auctions sometimes show manufacturer's pics of new and assembled items, but auction pics do not show actual items that are always disassembled and may be damaged, scratched, or missing parts.6.) FTA changed billing policy 1 year ago from onsite cash/credit card payment during item pickup to automatic credit card billing next day after auctions end. No customer refunds if actual item does not match auction picture.7.) FTA Buyer auction items are considered forfeit and subject to disposal or resale and no refund allowed if buyer does not pickup by designated date within several days of auction close.8.) FTA Senior Managers do not return customer telephone calls concerning Customer Service complaints. They say in person to call them if there is a problem, but they don't return calls.

I have to share my experience. Most of the stuff are broken, missing parts or sometime even different item than described. For me 1 out of 5 items will be good. Anything with the glass stay away, it is broken or cracked 99% of time. Just bought computer monitor that picture showed little scratch. Picked it up and when I opened the box there is no that scratch and the screen was completely broken. Picture was probably from same model but different item. I have seen half picture but the other half of the item was complete mess. They did not show that in picture. The pictures do not represent the actual item condition. Do not bid with confidence and if you need to spend your hard earned money go and examine the item or just buy it in the store with warranty and no headache.

most items are store returns and are damaged in some way . the reason they want your money up front! Very unprofessional staff at school Road location. Would not recommend the aggravation or headache to anyone

Good deals can be found, especially if you know how to fix things. Of course a few years ago you could find things for pennies on the dollar, but now as FTA popularity has risen the deals are rarely so great.



But the worst part is easily when you go to pick up your item. The times seem to change every few months, but it's never convenient. Typical times are in the middle of the day on Thurs or Fri (when most of us work) or late morning/early afternoon Saturday (when most of us are working around the house). And expect to wait in line 60 minutes before even being allowed to go inside the warehouse to find your items!!!



How about allowing us to come AFTER work! Like 4-6:30PM??? As it is now, it's not worth my time and effort to bid on items, mostly because of the hassle of picking them up.

We just bought our first purchases from the McMann Road Fast Track Auction site. Our experience was excellent. I have been hesitant to purchase based on negative reviews, but we had no problems. We bought a bed frame, a rug and a rug pad. All are in great condition. A woman named Ninfa was very helpful at the warehouse. She showed us how the numbering system worked and helped us find our items. We are very satisfied with this experience.

They cancelled my bidder number because I was upset over them trying to scam me out of $645 by saying my items disappeared. Advice stay away from them no auction should be run the way Carmen does.

Do not bid if you have not seen the item in person. I bought a white board with a forklift hole throught he middle of the box (both sides) and board. Oddly enough, the pictures did not cover that area. Yes it did appear new EXCEPT FOR THE HOLE!



Can get good buys, but, picking up from Cincy can take hours - literally!

better be super handy - cause what u see in the pictures are not what u get. Have more than a 50% chance that its broke, not working, or belongs in a landfill. Don't BID WITH CONFIDENCE.

Don't do it! Once you place a bid at Fast Track Auction your money's gone! They deduct the entire amount plus 15% fees and taxes from your card and you can kiss it goodbye. They'll keep your money even if you never get your item, or it's the wrong item, or if it's not the same as description, or it's in pieces (90% of items). Oh, and as a bonus you can get treated like garbage.

Fast track auction

If you preview your items or have any skills on how to fix things you can really get some great deals through this auction. I have redone my kitchen and three bathrooms using these products and probably saved myself $20,000 off retail

A nice online "yard sale" oper...

A nice online "yard sale" operation but be very careful about what you are bidding on. I've spent roughly $5K in the last two years at this location and management was willing to lose my business over a dispute on a $5 item. Item was NOT as pictured on the preview and was completely useless. They like to hide behind the excuse "you had an opportunity to come in and preview the item". Didn't expect a rusted piece of junk after previewing a nice shiny product on the website. Won't prevent me from bidding in the future but be warned.
