Great service from the minute I walk in the door. I have been going to Collins & Co. for
years and would not go anywhere else. Kudos to Collins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to start off by saying that I have been to many different salons in my time and have never had this kind of experience. I was refered to this salon by a women's networking group. I guess because of the fact that I wasn't "cool" enough for the staff, I was treated like crap by the girls at the front desk. It took forever for them to finish their conversation about plastic surgery and then to turn around and look at me, only to say "Yes" while looking at me like I was completely ruining their conversation. Once I told them that I was waiting for my stylist, and had been for over an hour, they walked in the back and got my stylist. Once I was in the chair to get my color re-touched, I couldn't help but notice the disgusting smell of smoke overwhelming me. My stylist was obviously outside smoking for a while, that's why I was waiting for so long. Her voice was so raspy and her very unproffesional outfit was vulger. Needless to say, my hair turned out terrible. My roots were 3 shades darker than the rest of my hair, and she said she couldn't tell. She definitely rushed the appointment, I'm sure to get back to her smoke break. When it was time to pay, a lady was very unfriendly and told me to "sit in the chair" while she tried to figure something out. I'm not sure what she was trying to figure out, but it had nothing to do with me or my appointment. I later found out that this was the owner. Not a very personal women. One would think that she would try to keep my business, but didn't offer any kind of discount, or ask how my experience was. She just wanted to finish the order so she could go back to whatever she was doing before I walked up. I will let everyone I know not to waste their time at Collins salons because it was a waste of my money and will not be going back.
