It distributes a variety of fresh products in more than 10 states throughout the United States. Caruso is one of the largest holiday fruit basket and corn packers and shippers in the U.S. The company offers value-added repacking of corn, potatoes, yams and onions, supply chain solutions, and seasonal fruit and gift basket production. Approved by AIB International, it is the Midwest produce transload center for Union Pacific Distribution Services. Caruso buys raw produce from various grower companies, and assist retailers, growers, shippers, food service providers, dry good manufacturers and third-party logistics providers with supply chain optimization. Additionally, the company has a more than 30,000-square-feet of refrigerated space and climate-controlled shipping dock. It works in cooperation with the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
