I have called every number listed for this facility and all numbers say that they are no longer working or have been wrongly dialed. This is extremely disappointing.

My daughter went to the Choctaw Hair Academy to have her hair trimmed and it put back to her natural color. She had not had it colored in about two months prior to this visit. She got to the salon at 10:00 a.m. and didn't finish until 5:30 p.m. During this time, they had talked her into ombreing the ends of her hair. They decided to do this by using the foil method. So, for about 7 hours, she sat with these chemical in her hair. When they took the foil out, her hair was basically melted. They began cutting off the damaged hair off, and when all was said and done, she had shoulder length hair that was not ombre'd or close to her natural color and a cut that looked like a 3 year old found a scissor and got a hold of her hair. On top of that, her hair was so damaged that they told her to not wash it for 4 days, no flat ironing, no nothing. She paid $60.00 for this mess because she didn't want to hurt her friends feelings. She was so upset over her hair, she vomited all night from the anxiety of having to go to the first day of school the next day. The first day of her senior year. I called the owner of the salon, Krista, and told her that the did her wrong and owed her a refund at minimum. Krista said that wouldn't be happening because my daughter knew it was a hair school and that is the risk. I told her that these students were her responsibility and that she was supposed to supervise them, which she didn't because she didn't make an appearance until 5:30 when the students realized her hair was fried. She did not sign a waiver until she walked out of the salon at almost 6:00 in the evening. The owner, Krista, was very irresponsible and should not be running a hair school. If you are considering letting her students work on your hair or signing up for her school, DON'T!!!!! She will not do you justice in either department. Krista did not take responsibility for what happened to my daughter's hair or her students. She should be shut down!!!!!
