Totally professional and timely service!

I called Bob on a Saturday morning after getting shafted by another electrician. Bob communicated very clearly and professionally to me how soon he could be out to my home to take a look at my electrical issue. I was out of state at the time and Bob was prompt, professional and courteous. He called me several times to keep me posted on his progress. The other guy - GONE. Bob & Lighthhouse Electric is now my GOTO electrician!!! Heath, Manlius, NY

I called Lighthouse Electric in an emergency situation and Bob and Dee came the same day to see what was needed for the job. After making sure that we were taken care of until the job could be completed, including calling National Grid for me they set up a time to complete the job including coordinating shut off and restoral of service with National Grid to assure the shortest time without power.

It is impressive how well Bob and Dee work together. With Bob mentoring Dee she is knowledgable, does excellent work and receives expert advice and supervision. Bob and Dee replaced the breaker box and electric meter providing us all new service in the house. We can now rest easy knowing that our electrical was completed professionally, quickly and with great care. If you need anything done, I highly recommend Lighthouse Electric, LLC for quality work in a timely manner. Thanks Bob and Dee for the great work and for making us laugh in a stressful situation!

I called Bob about an electrical problem that was causing power to go off and on and only some parts of house. He came in less than two hours and knew immediately what was wrong. Him and Destiny fixed the problem which could have been more serious. They were very knowledgeable and efficient. Would call them again and would refer others to them.

What great service! We have used Lighthouse on 3 occasions. On two occasions we were in a pinch and needed some professional advice that day! Both times, Bob made time to stop by to diagnose the problem and fix it. Yesterday both Bob and Dee came and had 2 lights up in no time. We appreciate having them in the area and we'll certainly use their services again. (FYI- Great to see a female electrician as well!) My 12 year old daughter thought is was cool!

Bob and Dee did a major overhaul and inspection of our house, including rewiring the service to the house, a whole new panel, and tidying up work from other contractors. They are total professionals and extremely thorough. We can't imagine hiring anyone else for electrical work. They are a pleasure to work with.

I called after having a funny smell, almost like chlorine and a set of lights go off. The switch to those lights was extremely hot. They got here as soon as they were able, calling and texting me occasionally so I knew how much longer they would be. Destiny did a great job! When Destiny and Bob looked at it, they knew immediately that the dimmer switch had burned out (the smell) and got to work replacing the switch. They were done and out the door within a half hour. Great price! And as a side not, they are both dog lovers and my dog loved them too.

Great experience! Bob came the same day I called, actually within the hour, to check out our problem. He explained in detail what the problem was and a plan to repair it. He took care of all the details, permit, inspection, etc promptly. Bob was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. The job was done in a timely manner. Very pleased with the service we received.

I don't even know how I should start my review I should have left this so long ago Bob and his apprentice Dee have worked on my family's house many times and the two of them are the best people I have ever worked with very friendly and very nice people who do great work at a more then fair price I will not use anyone else for my family's electric and I would recommend them to anyone looking for electric work I can go on forever about all the great experiences I had with Bob and Dee the dog not wanting to leave because my kids and wife gave him treats lol it's a long story anyway Bob and Dee are great people who do great work I enjoyed having them work on my home and if you call them I'm sure you will also thank you guys both so much for everything

I had half my house go dark around 10pm. After looking for local electricians Lighthouse Electric stood out among the others. After contacting them they did all they could to be at my house as soon as possible. While waiting for them to come I was able to text back and forth with them and get immediate responses. The problem ended up being the transformer box outside so I canceled their service call. But they will be my first call if I need service in the future. Thanks for the great service Lighthouse!

Bob from lighthouse electric came out to our home to help with a complex electrical problem related to our pool and fitration System. I did this on short notice because the problem arose suddenly. Bob made it to our home in a prompt and timely basis. I found Bob to be very knowledgeable, professional and patient. He was able to think through The problems that were presented and solve them in an expeditious fashion. There is absolutely no question in my mind that for any future electrical issues that may arise in our home I will be calling Bob from lighthouse electric. I strongly recommend him without reservation.

We had Lighthouse Electric (Bob Ladd and Dee S., his very talented apprentice) come out for a few different problems. They did a lot of trouble-shooting to find out why certain gfi's were tripping or outlets were not working. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, friendly, timely, experienced electrician duo, this is the place to call. I can't rave about them enough. I will call no other electrician after having them do two jobs at our house over the past couple of years. Give them a call, and you will see what I mean. It is nice to know that there are service people who really care and treat you well. Excellent job, once again, Bob Ladd and Dee! Thank you both, and we WILL see you AGAIN!!

My wife and I recently experienced a downed power line and trees on our property after a micro burst came through from a high wind storm recently.
After reading through some of the electrician reviews in the YP we decided to give Bob Ladd,Jr. a call at Lighthouse Electric to see if he could help us to attend to our electrical needs at that time.
His response was very professional and prompt in helping us with the electrical repairs needed in getting our house power turned back on along with our local utility company at hand.
In my opinion Bob`s trained assistant "Destiny" is well on her way to becoming a full fledged licensed electrician. Kudos to you young lady. :)

Needed help with a faulty outlet that had knocked out power to a large part of my house. They came up that same day and promptly found the issue and resolved it. I was informed on every step of the job. Very courteous. Price was also fair.

Had bob come over and give us an estimate, we than asked him to come to our house to fix 2 switches. Charged $250. He than told us we didn't understand that he charged us $75 for a service call. On yellow pages it says " no charge on service calls when repaired". In that case he lied to us and lost out a big job we wanted him to do.

We were having some issues with flickering lights in our newly purchased 100+ year old home and we also wanted to install new light fixtures where there were none. Bob and Destiny helped with those issues and so much more. They also updated our outdated wiring and got everything grounded so that the house would be safe for our family. Bob figured out that our flickering lights were due our supply line and helped us communicate with the National Grid team when they arrived to change our connections. We had so many projects that we joked they were going to move in at some point.

Bob and Destiny were so professional, punctual, and dedicated. The work they did in our house was some of the highest quality we've seen in any of the contractors we've had come to our house. We recommend them to anyone we know who needs electrical work done in their home.

I was away on a business trip and one of my tenants had an electrical emergency ... water was pouring into the main breaker.
Bob and his associate Dee came to the rescue. He sent me multiple pictures of both the problem and the solution. His prices were very fair. I was 800 miles from home and very comfortable with how Bob handles every step of the job.
Liked his work so much I hired him for another job when I returned home. More than anything else ... it was a pleasure to see Bob mentor a young women apprentice Dee ... " please hand me the pliers ... thank you Dee ... your welcome Bob " ... I'm not making this stuff up ... just great to see in today's rush rush atmosphere...
