HISTORY OF THE COMPANIES Hupp Signs & Lighting, Inc. and Hupp Draft Services, Inc. were established as a Sole Proprietor business in November of 1993 after the untimely death of Joe Hupp’s father (Jerry Hupp). Brewery Service was the name of the family business that originated in May of 1976 and continued until Jerry’s death in November 1993. November 1, 1993 was the first official day of business for Hupp in its 6300 square foot building on Commercial Avenue in Chico. After 5 years of strong growth in the manufacturing and service of signs, it was necessary to relocate to a larger facility. In March of 1998, we moved to our new 18,000 square foot facility on Loren Avenue. On July 1st 2015 Joe Hupp welcomed Hospitality Technology Systems, Inc. (HTS) to be under the Hupp family. HTS offers a Digital Dining platform for bars and restaurants with Point of Sale Software that can be customized to suit each customer’s individual needs. All human resources administration for Hupp Signs & Lighting, Inc., Hupp Draft Services, Inc. and Hospitality Technology Systems, Inc. are handled from the Loren Avenue location in Chico. On occasion, it is necessary to maintain a temporary satellite facility for Hupp Draft Services, Inc. while setting up new areas. ABOUT THE COMPANIES Goods and/or Services Provided: • Hupp Signs & Lighting, Inc. is a sign Company engaged in the business of manufacturing, installing, and servicing all types of custom indoor and outdoor signage. • We manufacture, install and service signs for Retailers, Wholesalers, and OEM companies. Our products are sold locally as well as throughout the United States. • Hupp Draft Services, Inc. is a beverage service Company engaged in the service and installation of Draft Beer related equipment. Specializing in Beer line maintenance and long draw refrigerated line installation. • We maintain and install beverage equipment for Beer and Wine Wholesalers, Retailers and Breweries in Northern California. • Hospitality Technology Systems provides Point of Sale (POS) Solutions and other Technology offerings for the Hospitality Industry.
