Established in 1965, Ridge Lawn School is an elementary institution that imparts education to students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school provides academic courses in math, music, physical education, reading, English, science, social studies, technology, health and basic skills. Ridge Lawn School has a parent-teacher association that works to foster close relations between home and school and welcome parents to attend meetings and participate in its varied activities. The school has a library media center that supports the school curriculum, assists students in the use of current and appropriate information and encourages reading as a lifetime activity. Ridge Lawn School is a part of Chicago Ridge School District 127.5 and is located in Chicago Ridge, Ill.
