Absolutely terrible experience. The staff omitted extremely important information about the apartment (this was conveniently discovered AFTER I had already paid the first month's deposit and signed the contract). The rooms are kept in disgusting condition, cheap furniture, NO LIGHTING WHATSOEVER (you'll need to spend the extra money on that as well, to complement the astronomical prices they charge for their rooms).



Also, BE WARNED: most of the rooms aren't private. They'll tell you you're paying for a single room, when in actuality the rooms have no windows and the wall is cut in half so that there is no solid wall between two bedrooms (even with the rooms that have a private bath). You can hear everything, zero privacy. They won't tell you this on the phone or in an e-mail, and being from out of town, I was unable to check myself. And, to top it all off, the staff is rude and communicates very ineffectively. Zero grace or politeness.



Even more: the Lofts are located in an unsafe area and are nowhere near anything Chicago has to offer.
