Great foods freshly baked everytime. I have nothing but good things to say about this bakeshop. If you haven't tried them yet, better do so now.

I am getting married next year and had a consultation with Eliza. Considering I have never done this before, I didn't know a lot about cakes. Eliza was so helpful and gave me an education on the fillings, icing, etc. I also walked out of their with some delicious sweets. I shared with my whole office and they absolutely loved everything! Thank you so much for making the cake tasting experience one to remember!

After waiting in line for 2 hours last year to get Spritz cookies, I called ahead this year to pre-order for pick up so to avoid as long of wait. They took my order and my credit card to pre-pay, then called me back an hour later to tell me that they can't fill a request for just "one" kind of cookie. I could order a "Swedish Assortment" which would contain a few Spritz cookies, but not order Spritz only. WHAT??? Last year they told me to call ahead to order my Spritz and this year,they won't let me order them (yet had no problem taking my personal credit card information). Then to add salt to the wound, they suggested that I just come down and stand in line again (for hours) and take my chances on being able to get the Spritz cookies. So, to assist their customers you cannot order ahead of time, but you can come stand in line for hours and get the cookies you want if they have them. Sorry Swedish Bakery, but you've lost a customer.

I would like to know if you are the same bakery that was located at clark and foster in the 40s and 50s, if so I will have an order as I still remember the great Limpa bread when I was growing up.Dave Erickson

Superpages took me right to Swedish Bakery without giving me all the bakeries in the city of Chicago!

This is a good bakery if you don't like rich buttery tasting baked goods.

A bit dry and bland...I like Greman Bakeries better, but this place is fine in a pinch.

Fridays are the best, but also very busy.

Basteille Day brings Blueberry items.

I MUST have a Swedish Bakery cake in every birthday i just adore their splendid fruit cake i have been buying this cake for years. i truly recommend this bakery. it super!!!
