If you like Prime Rib, this is the place. Although they have expanded their menu over the years to now include Salmon, and even a fish of the day, the Specialty of the house is Prime Rib, and it lives up to its billing. When the waiter or waitress comes to take your order, unless you want one of the fish dishes, the only questions you will be asked are whether you would like a drink, an appetizer, and whether you want the spinning bowl salad. After you finish your salad, and any appetizer you may have ordered, they will come around with a cart holding the Prime Rib, along with the mashed potatos and optional sides. It is then you will be asked whether you want the English Cut, the Lawry's cut, or the "Diamond Jim Brady" cut. If you chooose the latter, you better have brought your appetite! When you ask for a particular temperature, you can be sure you will get what you want. You will also be given mashed potatoes and gravy, and Yorkshire pudding, and you may order options such as creamed spinach, peas, corn, or mushrooms. If you like Prime Rib, you cannot go wrong at Lawry's, if you don't like Prime Rib, you are at the wrong place!
