Extremely disappointed with recent tax filing experience. First, despite clear direction on what states I needed to file, I was assigned a tax specialist unable to process taxes for my non-resident working state; then after finally resolving her knowledge gaps, when she processed my return, she failed to include appropriate forms, so my refund was rejected and IL demanded several thousand dollars in taxes owed (in error). She took the summer off and was not able to help address her error, so I had to find a new H&R Block tax specialist to assist, who proved to be more helpful, knowledgable, and appropriately ashamed of her colleagues negligence. However, that said, despite filing in February, I will not receive my refund until October earliest, likely not until December. Needless to say, I am not happy and will not likely return to this office...
