I didn't know what to expect when we went to the dinner but the atmosphere is great and I instantly fell in love with it. Bubbie's chicken soup and the corned beef and pastrami hash plate were delicious. However I've definitely had better ceaser salads. Definitely think it's worth checking out.

The owners name is Brad and he ruined a pretty nice day with my friends and I. Got the recommendation from the Spertus Museum and was really displeased with the restaurant. Food was overpriced for the quality. Atmosphere was too loud to enjoy our space which was interrupted by the presence of Brad. He was rude, argumentative and a liar.



We will not recommend to anyone.

A great old school Jewish Deli/resturant. When you go in you'd better be hungry because the food is large and heavy. Its right down the block from several Columbia College Chicago buildings and made a great place to eat between classes.

I went in for a pick up order and the staff lied to me about what they did with my food. Went back to tell the owner about the staff and they were not apologetic. (I was very courteous and did not raise my voice while complaining because the restaurant was busy). I've been served at least 8 meals there where the order has been wrong or the food is cold and I have finally had enough. This is the only restaurant in Chicago that I Would Never Recommend. Terrible service, below average food, poor management & ownership.
