We drive 100 miles once or twice a week from Indiana to attend this church! Have been members since 2008 and my husband is an outreach ministry leader there - Redeem Team Nursing & Rehab Ministry. This is a daughter church of the world-famous Brooklyn Tabernacle, and Chrissy Cymbala Toledo leads our Chicago Tabernacle Choir which sings in our Sunday services and also for special services at Moody Bible Institute and other areas in the region.



We have a first rate nursery and Happy Baby Room, CT Playhouse for children during our Sunday & Tuesday services. The youth has special groups on Sundays as well as small groups (EVOLVE) on Wednesday night and TRANSFORMED a weekly youth bash with band, activities, etc. every Friday night at 7 PM.



Young adults (Married & single) have small groups and activities - ADVANCE on facebook. We also have Mom groups, Vitality work out club with Christian-style Zumba activities, regular leadership Bible studies, mens' meetings, and more as the church grows! We have two services on Sundays and come early for the second service (9&11AM) if you want to get a seat in the main auditorium as often it overflows! We also have many outreaches in the community to the needy.



The music is INCREDIBLE, the preaching is life-changing -- unlike most churches that are new but are made up of Christians who have switched churches, this church is a mix of seasoned Christians and brand new converts who give their testimonies at our baptismal services usually every few months. I was also healed of a life-threatening incurable illness during the invitation at one of the services -- simply during the invitation they asked those who needed to be healed to stand and an elder annointed their head with oil and those around them prayed for them and I threw away my meds as I no longer needed it! We have had cancer totally disappear as well and verfied by the doctor's -- if you ever want special prayer, contact the church and they will set it up to have you prayed for especially at our Tuesday night prayer meetings.



We have been Christians for many years, our last church we belonged to for over 25 years -- but when we discovered the Chicago Tabernacle we havejoined and they have changed our life totally for God, saved our marriage when it went through difficulties, and I thank God for Pastor Al & Chrissy (Cymbala) Toledo and the staff at Chicago Tabernacle!
