I relocated from Tennessee and arrange by phone a lease for 7 months an apartment at the Pembrook Apartments. I informed them I would be moving in after driving ten hours and had to start work the next day. No problem they said, I could sign the lease and get the keys on Sunday afternoon. Came up and moved in. Then after selling my home in Tennessee and finding one here to purchase, I went back to find out how to get my notice in the the company and found that they had written in an extra month. They got this by me by not listing the number of months but writing in the name of the month. I feel this was done purposly to get another 975 dollars from me. They also negelected to tell me that the complex was under extensive construction which means noise, ripped out sidewalks, piles of debris, having to accomadate their replacing windows, and then being left with a mess because they did not use drop cloths to cover furniture. I would not recommend this company and their parent company B. H. Management, to anyone. Beware, they are only interested in the bottom line, not the saftey or health or happiness of their residents

I gave Lenell 500 dollars down from my father on a 1057 job to paint 6 rooms and a stairway and hall with replacing border...The job was not finished, and Mr. Smith did no painting or fixing of work he had done here tho he was told there were problems and promised to show up to do this. He spoke with my father and became angry. I asked him to meet with my husband and me or refund ... he said he paid his helpers who are friends who did not do a good job...they also waited for him to supply paint and help with problems. I am disabled and had more money for him to finish. I have photos...I have called emailed texted and he refuses. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY OR THIS MAN. I WILL REPOST IF HE RESOLVES PROBLEMS. THEN YOU MIGHT DECIDE (only my recommendation based on experience)...I had to go to the doctor...I am ill.

Provided by YP.comI tried using the BBB to force an auto repair shop to honor their warranty. No luck. The BBB is a business advocate, not a consumer advocate. Businesses pay the BBB for their listing. Therefore the BBB is useless and inconsequential when it comes to assisting the consumer when the consumer has been ripped off. The BBB “report card” grade you see on various websites is, in all actuality, pointless. Also using the BBB to locate“good” and “reputable” businesses is a farce. The BBB is a useless organization – a bureaucratic supporter of businesses who pay the price.
